It was a bump of the thread^ Settle down!

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 06:57 PM

Paul is a good bassist, in the scense the his bass lines were original and perfestly match the songs.

I just saw a canon commercial with some singing "Across the Univers" in the background.

Dont worry, his child lawsuits will force him to sell the rights if he gets sued.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:02 PM

That is what I have heard. I bet Paul is happy.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:05 PM
That is what I have heard. I bet Paul is happy.
He should be, Michael Jackson had no right to buy those rights. The Beatles should rightfully own their own songs.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:23 PM

Michael out bid Paul, waht can ya do?

They used to be friends until that happened.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:24 PM

Yeah, but it was morally wrong :p

Anyways, lets name the best songs off each of the Beatles albums.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:26 PM

Hmm im not to familar with pre 64 Beatles. but past that I can do.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:28 PM

We can start last, and then move back.

Let It Be: I think the best song on this album would be Across The Universe. You?

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:31 PM

I Me Mine

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:32 PM
I Me Mine
Really? You think that's the best on the album?

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:33 PM

yes I do. or Two of us

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:34 PM
yes I do. or Two of us
Ok, I'll agree with Two of Us.

Abbey Road: This is tough, but I think Something is the best on this album.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:36 PM

Polythene Pam

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:37 PM
Polythene Pam
Oh, come on. You think Polythene Pam is the best song on Abbey Road?

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:38 PM

Its personal preferance.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:39 PM
Its personal preferance.
Well try and think of it with overall musicianship, singing, and songwriting. They dished Polythene Pam out in 5 minutes.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:40 PM

Here comes the sun

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:42 PM

I still say Something.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:44 PM

Im not disagreeing ( well I kinda am) ITs 2 different opinions. next one

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:46 PM

Ok,

White Album: This is obviously going to be between Happiness Is A Warm Gun and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Between those two, I would pick Happiness.

Without including those songs, I would pick Dear Prudence or Yer Blues.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:47 PM

I go with happiness as well.

Sexie sadie is my other choice.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:51 PM

Sgt. Pepper: Of course it would be A Day In The Life, but other than that, I would pick Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 07:53 PM

Lucey in the Sky with Diamonds.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 07:57 PM
Lucey in the Sky with Diamonds.
Oh, I actually forgot about that song.

Revolver: I think it would be I'm Only Sleeping, but I also relly like For No One.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 08:00 PM

Im only sleeping, And Your Bird Can Sing

Woodstock 11-27-2004 08:01 PM

I forgot Tomorrow Never Knows, oh well.

Rubber Soul: I love Drive My Car and The Word.

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 08:02 PM

Norwegian Wood hands down.

Woodstock 11-27-2004 08:03 PM
Norwegian Wood hands down.
Now do you know what album came before this?

gmoneyguy 11-27-2004 08:06 PM

Woodstock 11-27-2004 08:07 PM
We skipped MMT

Help

Yesterday

You've Got to Hide Your Love Away

BludgeonySteve 11-27-2004 08:09 PM

Am I the only one here who isn't crazy about Lucey in the Sky with Diamonds?

I mean, it doesn't really have a very good melody and it's not even a good trip song compared to bands like Pink Floyd and the Doors.

Comments? Concerns? Flames for me (:( )?

I have to strongly disagree, but your opinion is your opinion

The lyrics are the trippiest part of the song.
