His other stuff (Mt. Eden) is really good, too, at least the stuff on his Youtube account.
Too bad his download link doesn't work for non-rapidshare subscribers..

does anyone here like Benga?
I listened to Diary of an Afro Warrior yesterday. Really liked it.

2muchket! 01-08-2010 02:47 AM

Benga's really well known, and Diary of an Afro Warrior is amazing.

Had Sukh Knight's ep on my laptop for ages. Took a listen the other day, quality stuff.

Aakon_Keetreh 01-09-2010 12:36 PM

borgore is where its at

SmurkinGherkin 01-09-2010 12:52 PM

borgore is cool
borgore is where its at
a lot of elitists will disagree.

I think he's quality personally.

SmurkinGherkin 01-09-2010 03:22 PM

What albums would you recommend someone new to dubstep. I've only heard Untrue (which I'm not that big of a fan of), parts of Oineric (sp?) by Boxcutter and odd tracks of this complication thing i downloaded.

Ideas? Cheers.

Edit: Oh, and some Borgore

Get the Roots of Dubstep compilation, and the Roots of El-B compilation.

Oh and Skream! by Skream (CD version, not the vinyl).

If you want something a little more current, check out Dubstep Allstars Vol5. Current dubstep can be little too "wobbly" for me though if you get what I mean.

Burial is quality man, go listen to that **** again.

I'd recommend :

Scuba - A Mutual Antipathy
Zomby - One Foot Ahead of the Other
Kryptic Minds - One of Us
Martyn - Great Lengths
Stenchman - Abyss
2562 - Aerial
Sukh Knight - Cheese Louez EP

SmurkinGherkin 01-09-2010 05:46 PM

Okay cool, cheers.

wasn't blown away by Scuba. was alright, but not great.

you do need everything joker's done though

Kyle 01-10-2010 07:53 AM

Joker's going to be big this year, everything he's done is great.

perriwinkle 01-10-2010 11:09 AM

Listen to 50,000 Watts - Crunked up, over and over. Then you'll be like me. Also, Dash EXP is great. All the Kum Curek **** rocks. Best mixes: dub assassin vol 3, and Hulkstep. If you want **** with vocals get the bug - london zoo. Good stuff, some more dancehall type **** on there too.

RoshanC 01-10-2010 12:25 PM
Joker's going to be big this year
I bloody well hope so, he deserves it.

2muchket! 01-14-2010 09:51 AM

Sukh Knight on the 1st of February.

Yesssssssssssss.

2muchket! 01-14-2010 10:08 AM

Seems like I moved away from boro at the wrong time. In the past 4 months they've had Stenchman, Cookie Monsta and now Sukh Knight.

Newcastle is terrible for dubstep.

HighandDriving 01-14-2010 10:12 AM

Lol, Toronto is much much worse.

2muchket! 01-14-2010 10:15 AM

I can imagine dude.

HighandDriving 01-14-2010 10:19 AM

We had Bassnectar recently, I that was a pretty big fuc king deal.

ATM 01-18-2010 11:29 AM

Getting into dubstep more and more. Anyone want to rec a couple more things?
