According this official Monopoly book that I once read, that is a naughty, non-official rule.

Aaron 11-01-2008 09:28 PM

You've gotta have like 6 people or more playing for it to be good.

big80smullet 11-01-2008 09:29 PM

i always try and get the yellows and greens and sometimes the cheap purple ones

radtaste 11-01-2008 09:32 PM

*goes off to create an MX Aussie Monopoly Camp thread.

Meatplow 11-01-2008 09:51 PM

i used to try and secure the two cheapest properties (i can't remember the names), they didn;'t cost much money to capitalise on and once nicely built up it was a nice little cash cow until i had enough to start ****ing around with more expensive places

Aaron 11-01-2008 10:07 PM

You can get a giant Kubrick book.

I think only his main ones. I don't recall seeing Paths of Glory or the Killing last time around.

Meatplow 11-02-2008 03:04 AM

eyes wide shut, barry lyndon and spartacus are the main 3 I haven't seen yet I think

my favourite is probably a tie between 2001 and Dr. Strangelove

big80smullet 11-02-2008 03:25 AM

eyes wide shut is cool enough

radtaste 11-02-2008 03:25 AM

I find parts of 2001 too overdrawn. Like with that trippy sequence.

big80smullet 11-02-2008 03:47 AM

ive never seen it. it doesnt really interest me

Meatplow 11-02-2008 03:47 AM

I did when I first watched it, now I think the length is great.

Anyone familiar with loading vst plugin's in audition? I can't figure it out. Also playing around with Ableton Live, looks good so far.
