my friend gave me 2 clash posters for my birthday...(just to stay in the subject)....and theres one with Joe Strummer (1952-2002) written, and it makes me sad evertime i look at it, but it makes me smile at the same time...i love this poster.

i'm doing a research for my history class about "how the society of the early 70's influenced the punk rock movement" and that's awesome cause i get to talk about joe and the clash.

-steve: yeah it's a cool name, but when i go in the states or in ontario, people can't prononce it...

Americans suck at pronounciation.

i have a big ugly accent when i speak english.but my english teacher is cool.2 years ago i couldnt even understand something like "where's the bathroom".now i'm okay.but (and here come the clash-related thing) my teacher loves the clash a lot, and he was always talking to me about them and he forced me to answer him in english..so it's not that bad now...but when im tired, like now, i forget everything i know and use a really bad grammar.
