metal_milita 11-26-2004 12:06 AM

88 is still better than "we're all to blame" however.

ClayTheJ 11-26-2004 06:14 PM

88 is probably Sum's best song, that or Still Waiting in my opinion

TheBassicBassist 11-27-2004 04:12 PM

whoa StoneHenge1 I thought you were me for a second, I love your avatar man

88 is definately their best song hands down, and metal militia have you really been to MOST of their concerts, that seams kind of hard to do

the reason (has their old punk feel, but with more meaningful lyrics and a better musicial structure).
the song is called No Reason, just a friendly reminder

and actually, they don't usually sound off-key live
I didn't mean off-key so much as I meant just not as good as on CD, but I felt like saying off key anyways

All Killer No Filler is harder stuff to play than Half Hour of Power, and its better quality, and its longer, but I could never say that any of Sum 41's ablums are better than any others

All killer no filler by a mile but saying that, I listened 2 does this look infected for 3 and a half hours non-stop yesterday and it still kicks all the other's butts.

StoneHenge1 12-02-2004 07:31 AM

I got in trouble few days ago from my parents cause I was listening to Sum 41's CHUCK. It was 12am and my headphones were blearing. It was funny though.

TheBassicBassist 12-02-2004 07:37 AM

Man, StoneHenge1, your avatar is amazing, it always confuses me. I wish I had enough time to listen to DTLI? for 3 1/2 hours, that would be awesome.

TheBassicBassist 12-02-2004 07:46 AM

hey, StoneHenge1, did you give me rep points??? If so why, the comment says that Chuck is amazing, what did I say to deserve rep points?

StoneHenge1 12-02-2004 04:26 PM

I dunno. I like Chuck/Sum 41 and so do you. That's just the vibe I'm getting when I read "Bigest Sum 41 fan ever!"

If thats the vibe your getting then you are correct, your the only person whos givin me rep points, two other people have taken away rep points, one because I underlined a name is a quote and used too many smilies, example:

Originally quoted by StoneHenge1
   :thumb:

and another took away points because I said getting stoned was stupid, which it my opinion it it, sorry to you stoners

but, to get back on subject you would be correct to assume that I love Chuck.

and why did you choose the avatar you did, did you have influence from a ceartain someone???

TheBassicBassist 12-02-2004 08:40 PM

I accidentally posted my last post twice, so I'm editing this one out....yeah

:D

Nope. I just saw it and I liked it. Sorry I kinda stole it though. But if you watch em, they're different.

hairycamel 12-02-2004 11:37 PM

abc

i hate there old stuff. there new stuffs allright, coz its not pop punk, its pop metal. its heavy, following the new trend, not that theres anything rong with this trend. i do find there new songs arnt original, they rip off bands like metallica and system of a down.

i do think that sum 41 are an ALLRIGHT band, but they are far from original

as long as you like Sum 41

I hate people who try and play songs but make them really junky, can they not tell when they suck?

last year at my church camp talent show, my performance group (not band) played Makes No Difference, it was a really good show, alot of people thought it was amazing, but our vocalist turned up the mic too loud and he overpowered the instruments more than we liked.
