(Whoa, this Clan thing is gettin ways outta hand...)
Anyways,RIB is an ok album, overall, but IMO not that strong for a thrash album. It has quite a few great songs like Post Mortem,Angel Of Death and RIB but most of it just tends to blend together and get boring after awhile. |
Dude (Dudette) you're god**** cool. Not only are you a chick, you're 14 aswell. You like all the good ****! you like ****ing Priest! I salute you.

I'd give it maybe 7 or 8 tops out of 10... It is probably the weakest 80's slayer album. Just compare it to an album such as BtR or EN, and you will see just what a poor album it really is. Postmortem saves it's sorry arse from a 6 :p. (fantastic song)... |

I'm different from the poser nu-kids at school, and proud! As for Tormentor being the best Slayer song, I must disagree. Criminally Insane has the coolest riff ever man (towards the end, after solos, when the drums slow down again). Tormentor is a kickass song tho.. and Chemical Warfare is just amazing. |
I've got an idea! Everybody post all of your metal albums here, or at least anything heavy! We'll see who is the winner :P

Cheers :thumb: Those vinyls and my copy of MOP are only signed by Lars, but I met everyone, just didn't bring the **** to get signed at the BDO, only at Channel [v] when Lars was interviewed.. :) I think I'm giving JITF to a friend for her birthday and keep GDR for myself :thumb: F*cken cool present I'd say! I'd be interested to see your collection, you have some awesome taste. **** I keep forgetting things on my list! |

Fair enough. |
To the dude that has Grip Inc: Nemesis.. UP WITH LOMBARDO  that just reminded me that I own this album, I'd put it on my list, but I'm lazy as.
|
I'm too embarrassed to include my collection here. It's that pitiful. I feel bad for joining the Thrash Titans when I have a very little CD collection in comparison.

any Grip Inc fans?
any Grip Inc fans?
right here, i practically worship dave lombardo |
The best Slayer song is of course Captor of Sin.
The genius of Reign in Blood is its completeness. Only RIB and Master of Puppets embody the pinnacle of the thrash movement. All songs complement each other and seem like a single vision - like a thrash concept album if you will. They are probably not the best thrash albums - Game over or Darkness Descends would get my vote - but you have to take into account the time (ie 1986 - thrash's peak) and the impact they had. For example translyvanian hunger is probably better than A Blaze in the Northern Sky but it is ABTNS that is seen as the epitome of black metal for its impact and vision. |
^ Jondur, MAJOR ownage over everyone, as always! :thumb:
|
Fück yeah,Game Over owns :thumb:
Personally,I´d go Malleus Malleficarum,Darkness Descends and Fabulous Disaster :) |
This clan sucks.
A proper clan has to be forged in the white heat of battle, represented by only the fairest and bravest of the mighty warrors of the 7 lands. Clearly the Circle is Superior. Reasons: BH: Not a bad clan. Given it was the original but it is now just a way for n00bs with about 100 posts to look cool and feel accepted. Way to lax on who it lets in. (suffering dead, seriously that guy sucks balls) The Wives: Haha this clan has potencial but still sucks due to the crappness of the choice of title. The Titans: Letting people into a thrash clan who only like Metallica and Megadeth. Nuf said The Spelling Clan: :) :thumb: (down) |
Personally,I´d go Malleus Malleficarum
The Pestilence album? A curious one that - I always overlook it because consuming impulse is so great. |
Spiral, go and rescue a princess on your mighty steed. :p
Yes, I would have set this almighty clan up differently, but it's not the members that makes a clan great (yes, not even me! :p ) It is the ideology that surrounds the clan, in this case it is Thrash, and nothing is greater than thrash. :p |
