Yeah it is a plus. A bunch of sites are blocked but if I wasn't able to do anything, I would go crazy.

It's weird though, cuz I have so much down time that I have to THINK of things to look up to keep me busy.

there was an interesting documentary on last night about hessidic jews. it was amazing just how separate they are in culture. they avoid even looking into the eyes of a non jew, have their own ambulance service, own schools, a very strong and helpful community and effectively no contact with mainstream society.

i actually quite admire the way they've kept their culture so strong. they're actually very resiliant people, the jews.

on the other hand i remember seeing a hessidic jew buying a pr0n magazine a couple of years back.

It's pretty chill, but the weather cold be better. I was planning on hiking in the mountains for a week or so right after our last field trip in July, but I might have to work instead, which sucks. So I probably won't do anything, as usual.

I am however very disappointed in Sweden's performance against Russia yesterday.

Me too, though I thought Russia would win no matter how Sweden played. They were waaaaay better and it's even making me nervous. Holland fan myself, so.

Sweden had the oldest team in the tournament and yesterday it was clear for all to see. Myself, I don't think Russia has any chance to beat the Netherlands, but I've been wrong before.

The Netherlands and Spain are the two teams that have impressed me the most, with Portugal in the third place.

Weather's pretty good, I guess. Cloudy and 20 degrees Celsius or so.

Same, but I don't think they've been as damn good like a lot of people are saying. All matches have been way more even than the scores show.

Warmer than here anyway. Going to the Netherlands for 5 weeks in a month though, so that's okay.
