Still life live...

/drools

Maiden England is great.
Yeah, aside from the fact that i missed some of it, its easily one of the best concerts i've watched.

JamJar 05-25-2006 09:42 AM
Phantom of the Opera
Stupid ol' me

I need to see Maiden England so desperately, but I'm prepared to wait for the Golden Years DVD

Deth 05-25-2006 11:24 AM

I haven't seen it either. Looking forward to the DVD though.

The tab for Thin Line looks boring :(.

haha, it's actually quite fun on guitar, i've been playing it all day today:)

ashman 05-25-2006 08:52 PM

It's quite a nice song to play...not the funnest...that goes to The Evil That Men Do!

Deth 05-25-2006 08:59 PM

I like playing Phantom of the Opera and Rime the most.

ashman 05-25-2006 11:34 PM

I like POTO, but Rime is a tad boring...(well the verse is)

innocent criminal 05-26-2006 01:50 AM
YES THEY CAN! They are going to be tons better too, and as long as you post in here i want to hear no doubting of Maidens abilities.

Welcome by the way:) :thumb:
hahaha sorry..will never happen again! cant wait for the new album!!!!!!!!!!!

crag 05-26-2006 06:19 AM

I find the instrumentals really fun to play especially Transylvania.

PAJJ 05-26-2006 07:04 AM

DoD is one of my favourite songs to play, also 2 minutes, haven't learnt evil that men do, shall try it next if it's that fun.

crag 05-26-2006 07:06 AM

I forgot about DoD, that song is great to play. Infact every song i know on that album is really fun to play:)

the_uber_penguin 05-26-2006 08:20 AM

I really need to get round to learning the title track from that one.

I love playing Journeyman...I arranged all the complex three guitar parts down to a chord progression for just one guitar. It's really hard! (Especially in the first bits where there's a picking pattern instead of mistake-hiding strumming)

oooo, if possible could you hook me up with that, it sounds fun, i'd be forever grateful :).

Josh 05-26-2006 10:20 AM

i can't play much stuff at all, let alone much Maiden.
i can play the intro the RTTH, and i used to be able to play BNW, although not at Steve's speed, more like i played 2 notes for every 3 of his. i still love playing the intro to that on my bro's acoustic.
i used to be able to play Wrathchild as well, but it's so long since i've played bass now, i don't know if i could still play anything all the way through :(

I'll start putting it into powertab, as I did the arrangement myself.

Might take a while...

Deth 05-26-2006 08:33 PM

I can't tab my stuff into powertab, I'm so slow with it.

temporary 05-26-2006 09:06 PM
EDIT 2: I just looked at a set list for the concert, it seems my video skips TETMD, The Prisoner, Still Life and DWYBO:angry:
Yeah, mines the same way (except I can hear Davey fine.) I'm kinda pissed it skips those, considering how much I love TETMD and Still Life. You can find DWYBO on Youtube, though... God I love that song...

the_uber_penguin 05-26-2006 09:29 PM

Ok, I did it.

Everyone who wants a copy, post your e-mail address and I'll send you both the Powertab and the ASCII export of it.

Lord Abortion 05-27-2006 05:53 AM

Nice, I have the audio, but that's damn cool.

PAJJ 05-27-2006 05:59 AM

That's from FotD isn't it, I haven't listened to that in ages /puts it on, and i've not seen blaze do that song before, was pretty good.
That's from FotD isn't it, I haven't listened to that in ages /puts it on, and i've not seen blaze do that song before, was pretty good.
yeah, that was one of the bruce-era songs blaze could do well, that plus TETMD and HBTN

crag 05-27-2006 06:32 AM

I love Blazes version of ATSS, far better than Bruce IMO.

To Uber- If you could just send me the ASCII thingy that would be great.

-The Frank 05-27-2006 06:45 AM

the_uber_penguin 05-27-2006 10:23 AM

You guys ought to have the Journeyman tab in your inbox now.

JamJar 05-27-2006 02:42 PM

I've learnt the basics of The Thin Line already if this cover is going to go ahead.
