hmm well i dont know about florida but id assume theyre on the same system as texas. dui is just a few hundred dollars in fines, alcohol awareness classes, and maybe a month or 2 license suspension. dwi is like thousands in fines going higher the higher your BAC was, huge insurance hike, up to 6 months license suspension, and alcohol classes out the ***.

pretty much its up to the officer what you get. if theyre a dick cop and youre obliviously drunk, youre gonna get a dwi. if you keep your cool and just make things easy for them, theyll probably just give you a dui.

again, I think the penalties down here are harsher. Worst offence was a years ban, its bloody annoying but yet way too easy (and fun)

nm been out drinking with friends. I have a throbbing headache on the left side of my head, pretty annoying.

theyve got like this point system thing here, where with varying degrees of points in a certain time you get harsher penalties. ive been lucky enough to spread my points out over long enough periods of time to not incur any of the harsher penalties.

Sucks. I had a real bad migraine earlier so I took a nap and I'm feeling much better. Helps that I smoked, too.
