mmm

buttholes

HighandDriving 04-16-2009 07:56 AM

Anyone heard the new Chariot song, this **** might actually end up dec.

Much better then anything Norma Jean could put out, minus O'God.
quality of music =/= quality of production
but the listening experience is proportional to both the quality of music and the quality of production.

I don't care how good you are at guitar, if your distortion has too much gain you still sound like ****.

4yearpro? 04-16-2009 08:59 AM

gain 10
treble 10
mid 3
bass 5
Whoa, I hate most metalcore and even I'm starting to dig Luce
I'm starting to get bored with metalcore myself...I need something new to kick me back into it.

encmetalhead 04-16-2009 10:01 AM

yeah like i'm tired of metalcore and deathcore so i'm trying to find another genre until something worthy while kicks the rut

RetiredAt21 04-16-2009 11:41 AM

You guys like a lot of really gay ****.

HighandDriving 04-16-2009 11:53 AM

Yo Retired do you like Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding by The Chariot?

Yes the album title is really pretentious.

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:06 PM
quality of music =/= quality of production
....wow.

Quite possibly the worst album title ever.
And p.s. The Chariot sucks.

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:23 PM

Josh Scogin is a great vocalist, the band just diddn't do it for me

maybe it was the 85% feedback guitar riffs

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:23 PM

Dude, that album is awesome, if everything after it has blown.

Even cbmartinez admits that it's good, and he tries really really hard to seem cool.

DBlitz 04-16-2009 12:25 PM
Even cbmartinez admits that it's good, and he tries really really hard to seem cool.
then it must be good!

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:26 PM

maybe i need to give it another listen

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:27 PM
then it must be good!
Dude, in all honesty that album is legit as heil.

I mean, you can act like you've been listening to metal for a while and that you're elite now, but I remember when you first came here boy.

Doesn't mean I constantly try to shoot down your opinion to seem elite in front of the other noobs.

P.S. ur lookin gud wanna make out?

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:28 PM

whoa hella guylove itt

Dude don't let the bands imagine deter you, that album is raw, gritty and heavy as fuc k.

They have two new guitarists and a new drummer, so I'm hoping that their upcoming album will be better then The Fiance.

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:29 PM

As long as Doolittle and Scogin are still in the band, the songwriting will stay typically similar.

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:30 PM

Josh is an awesome singer, i really only liked Norma Jean when he was in the band

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:31 PM

O' God The Aftermath is a ****ing immense album, regardless of how bad Cory's vocals sound when he tries to imitate Josh.

Sucks, Cory was an awesome vocalist when he was in Eso-Charis and like, DID HIS OWN THING.

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:32 PM

that happens when you replace someone else, you either imitate them or do your own thing and risk changing the bands sound

FreeSmells 04-16-2009 12:33 PM

I didn't even know the title to the album, I just hate their music in general.
The title just makes me hate them a LITTLE bit more.

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:34 PM

Dood, srsly, their demos and that album are awesome. IDK WTF YOUR PROBLEM IS BUT ITS UPSETTING.

@Sean: Well considering Josh and Doolittle had a lot to do with the songwriting on Bles The Martyr... and the band changed their sound pretty thoroughly after they left to form The Chariot, I think it was a retarded of Cory to try to imitate the dude.

HighandDriving 04-16-2009 12:34 PM
As long as Doolittle and Scogin are still in the band, the songwriting will stay typically similar.
Who is Doolittle?

There was quite the change from their debut to softmoar but that was probably cause of the massive line up change, which happened again.

So I'm hoping this will album will be along the same lines as Everything.... minus the production.
O' God The Aftermath is a ****ing immense album, regardless of how bad Cory's vocals sound when he tries to imitate Josh.

Agreed 110%.

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:35 PM

The bassist.

The Feeding 04-16-2009 12:35 PM

i loved the production on Bless The Martyr, soo gritty and raw, but it worked

HighandDriving 04-16-2009 12:36 PM

The guy with the beard?

hismajestythepope 04-16-2009 12:36 PM

IDK he was clean shaven last time I cared about The Chariot... then their second album came out haha.
