I keep listening to Atmosphere.

Otherside 08-21-2006 02:31 AM

If you think Atmosphere is great check out Little Brother - Minstrel Show.

One of my favorite rap cds.

Tangy zizzle 08-21-2006 02:40 AM

Straitjacket Fits - Melt
Radio Birdman - Zeno Beach (really good stuff for old dudes)

Sepstrup 08-21-2006 02:43 AM

Hey, Air - Moon Safari is good.

sr800bkBassist 08-21-2006 02:59 AM

i finally checked out Girl Talk (it was hard to get ahold of them via limewire :p).

very very very very cool.

br3ad_man 08-21-2006 04:53 AM

I hope Radio Birdman play another show near me soon. I've missed about 3 because of underageness. It would be awesome if they came back to the Gold Coast in a couple months.

Tangy zizzle 08-21-2006 05:47 AM

^Seein' em in a weeks time, can't wait.

Stooges + Birdman + Buzzcocks = A year for classic punk showcase.

Indeed, nightripper is a very enjoyable release, it's funny to hear 'all' those songs you in the mix.

sketchyjoe 08-21-2006 02:42 PM

Tom Frampton

Riot folk that I used to not like but I gave him another chance and though his voice is an acquired taste he's a pretty decent songwriter in the Johnny Hobo/Evan Greer mold.

Little Man being Erased 08-21-2006 03:29 PM

The Avalanches - Since I Left You

I dig.

Matt? 08-21-2006 03:41 PM

larry bird.

a bunch of kids from new hampshire diy scene playing catchy appleseed cast esque (sp?) tunes

sketchyjoe 08-21-2006 03:51 PM

Go to these ones.

Russian Circles is really good.

YDload 08-21-2006 05:28 PM

Oh yeah, you gotta go see Minus The Bear. According to YouTube footage, they're pretty good at live performances. So if you like the albums, this wouldn't be a bad show!

Melvins too

Happymeal 08-21-2006 09:11 PM

Sleater-Kinney - One Beat

I could listen to the title track for days and not get tired of it. Corin's such a badass singer.

JonM 08-21-2006 09:40 PM

Aw man, is last.fm sucking again? I should have a good list this week.

Matt? 08-21-2006 09:41 PM

i only listen to music on myspace now.

my last.fm must be starving

Little Man being Erased 08-21-2006 09:42 PM

Yeah, it's pretty fucked up. My overall top artists list is gone as well as the weekly chart not updated yet.

Sonic Youth - Rather Ripped

I move back to school tomorrow and on Thursday I'll be seeing The Flaming Lips / Sonic Youth performing live. It'll be my first time seeing both, it's pretty exciting. Too bad I'm seeing the Lips during their At War with the Mystics tour...

The Great Decay 08-21-2006 10:48 PM

Sonic Youth are good live.
