i met the author and creator of that book/show senior year of high school. dude seemed fucking full of himself, but i guess i would be too if i wrote a book that rad that inspired a movie with a soundtrack provided by Explosions in the Sky.

Just busting your balls, I was seeing if you were just someone who only read American Psycho and nothing else by him.

But really Friday Night Lights is a decent read, pretty simple and light with a good theme.

It's ok, I was gonna play along if you were being serious, which I thought you weren't considering you used transgressionalist.

I own every book by BEE and have read many of them multiple times and have watched the movies multiple times and I've gone as Patrick Bateman for Halloween - twice.

I'm sure it's a decent read, I enjoyed the film and love the tv series it's based on, but I'll never read it.

I've read AP and part of Rules of Attraction, I tend to get distracted easily, but my buddy Jacob is always saying he's wrote tons of great stuff but won't tell me what to read because he says I should discover it on my own. Go out and first devour Less Than Zero, it's a great, short novel.

Then pick go ahead and pick any book for his small category expect The Informer, which in all honesty, can be avoided cause it was only published as a cash grab.

Glamorama is my fav novel of his, it's a models turned terrorist thriller; Lunar Park is him trying his best to write like Stephen King and eclipsing everything King has ever wrote; Imperial Bedrooms is the sequel to Less Than Zero and kind of encompasses all the best elements from all his novels - it should be saved for last.
