metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:48 PM

did the jaymz e-mail thing work anyone?

LarsAgi007 03-27-2005 03:49 PM

What I think!
theres about a billion rumours going around, a lot of them on this forum that they be returning to their early 90s black album sound. :thumb: :D
If i remember correctly i heard loads of rumours that they were going to do something like the Black album a while ago, then a little album came out called S.t Anger, I think the truth is, No-One, appart from Tallica and a few producers know a thing, its all what people think, Not what has been officially said.

I do not think the new album will be anything like other albums to be honest, i think it will be quite a relaxed album, with loads of misterious tracks, kinda like Temptation that can be heard on S.K.O.M

(Has that Jaymez hetfield addy on MSN, Not came online as of yet though..)

heavy metal kid 03-27-2005 03:50 PM
enter natman - where did everyone go?
still here but the e-mail thing is not very fun to talk.

Rattlehead 03-27-2005 03:50 PM

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:51 PM
shall i start off another 1 or does official mean mods have to start em
...why bother make a new one? and yes only mods can make official ones or you get flamed and/or banned.

oh i c

munky_magik 03-27-2005 03:54 PM

The thread may get deleted (a lá The stonglod) if it gets too big and uts too big a strain on the server, but I can't see that happen for a gopd while yet.

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:54 PM

i wonder if kirk hammett at hotmail would work...

Prime example being the community thread

Rattlehead 03-27-2005 03:55 PM
so it's not him?
i doubt it. i sent this message: "Can you tell me whether you are james hetfield lead singer of the best heavy metal band (metallica) in the world please" but i doubt its him

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:56 PM

maybe he'll reply.

how big does a thread have to be before it gets deleted?
the r&m yacht clubs about 55000 posts and 2200 pages long.

LarsAgi007 03-27-2005 03:57 PM

If that was to happen, they would probably delete the 1st half of the thread... This site must take some servers to run...

P.S that Jaymez thing, I sent him an essay lol, I asked him to please reply, I will keep you posted if anyone replies... Lets face it, even if it isn't him, he will probably say he is lol

munky_magik 03-27-2005 03:58 PM

The original Stronghold was around 100,000 post long when it got deleted.
If the Yacht club gets deleted my post count is going to plummet :-/

Also, I severly doubt James & Kirk, or for that matter any member of Metallica, would have a free e-mail account with hotmail.

Lars: Deleting half a thread isn't practical because the Mods would have to manually delete every post.

Rattlehead 03-27-2005 03:58 PM

gotta go 'Tallica rules :thumb:

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:59 PM

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 04:01 PM

guys, we consider new yacht club/tallica threads when they approach 100,000

we should keep tryin with the e-mail thing!
If the Yacht club gets deleted my post count is going to plummet :-/
Same here. About half my posts have been in the yacht club :upset:. Imagine Bartenders plummet then

munky_magik 03-27-2005 04:04 PM

I don't know if the threads will get deleted at around that mark. I think it's a reasonable assumption though, as having two threads in here that size is gonna strain the server.

Accually, i did have the drummer, (Travis) Of Blink 182 on MSN once, They were online 24/7, and often a woman was there, but then one day he claimed to be travis, i had a webcam convo with him, and it sure was him, even showed me his tattos, they matched perfectly, I had his e-mail addy, but my computer wen't down for like 4 months and i lost my MSN account, and history, it was somthing like Trav1s_B_arker5535@hotmail.com, Close to that, but i have never got it since grrrr (Not that i am a big fan)
