You can brew beer from bovine blood (mmm...alliterative), so you don't waste anything, Like the Native Americans and Buffalos.

I must learn how, then I'd have the total package right there, all I'd have to do is buy a cow farm then I'd be set for life, just slaughter them and purify their blood into beer and eat their meat. Then make carpet for my house out of their hide. Yes.

Yes, it is awsome. The only thing better is an actual New York City Deli. Its like 5 pounds of meat on a large sub/roll.

If i had dinner with Matt Heafy i'd rip his Maiden t-shirt of and shoot him in the head.

Because he doesn't deserve to wear Maidens colors.

You used to talk about nothing else but Trivium's godliness.

It's kind of weird that you feel like you have to match that period of your musical life excess for excess by constantly bashing them every time someone gives you an excuse. No offense or anything, just something I've noticed.

On another note I listened to your band's new song and it's pretty good, although the guitar sounds rather radio-like.

I too Dislike them lots.
I too Dislike them lots.
They have potential, though. They could develop into something really great someday. If anything they suffer from the pressure and publicity of the mainstream hype unloaded on them, which means they can't, unlike so many other underground metal bands, make a bunch of derivative filler albums that pass the public by unnoticed, and then develop their greatness and unleash it on the world THEN. Right now, they're too immature as composers and tasteful players to warrant the sales and attention they've been getting from mainstream coverage outlets and the public.

Doctor Night 03-04-2006 03:50 PM

Yes, but as of now, they seem like a rip-off of ol' 'Tallica. Just with Cockeye screaming instead of singing.

I dispise Screaming/Growling.

Cain 03-04-2006 03:54 PM
I dispise Screaming/Growling.
I love growling, but only in heavy music that is more or less straight melodic in structure. Amon Amarth and Opeth's growls I like.

The biggest things I can't stand are hardcore/metalcore yelps over frantic instrumentals with the singers that are either bald and ugly or emo and ugly. The "scraawk" types of screams, and the yells, are really stinky for me. Even good musicianship doesn't save those bands from my "hate" vault.

The fact that the screamo music designates a seperate member to be reserved for making a pteradactyl impression just turns me away from the whole genre/ scene.

I suppose, but then again, Most Modern music I don't enjoy, I'm too much of a Classic Rock nut.
