I missed it. Lay down for a nap and my flatmate (who was headed for the same tutorial) didn't wake me up when he left.

Technically, I'm still missing it now, but if I leave now there'll only be about ten minutes left by the time I get there.
That'll happen from time to time. Hopefully it wasn't too important.

Bartender 02-15-2005 10:29 AM
Nice going 'Tender :p

I just ordered my stuff from Amazon. Should be about 7-10 days
Anything in particular, or is it a secret for now?

I wouldn't put too much faith in their estimate for delivery, anyway.

Well this one is a political philosophy tutorial, and we only have five of them in total, and the guy who teaches us political philosophy is awesome, so I rather wanted to attend this :(

Not to mention I've missed more than enough in lectures and tutorials anyway.

ArcLite 02-15-2005 10:31 AM

I have a half an hour before the mail room opens up and I can go get my Imperanon. Then it'll be time to hit the pillow.

Izzy Stradlin & the Ju Ju Hounds - S/t
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Arsis - Celebration of Guilt.

The Arsis cd will take the most time because it's an import, other than that it should be allright.

Damn, wish I'd known about that when it was down. Pretty cool.

It was only up for an hour before MX came back online mind

I nearly forgot:
Thanks for the rep Bartender.

Most of my Amazon stuff came today:
Dream Theater - Live at Budokan DVD
Some Kind of Monster DVD
Keane CD (a birthday present for a friend of mine)

Still waiting for:
Metallica - Cunning Stunts
Kyuss - Blues for the Red Sun

That must have cost you a fair bit.

And now for something completely different:
Does anyone else think Faith No More are deserving of a FA?

Yes sir, just went to my mailbox to pick up my Imperanon - Stained, courtesy of Amazon.

Burdcheese 02-15-2005 11:10 AM

The last two are from the marketplace - so cheaper.
It was all about £55 in total.

We certainly need another FA - I say they're worthy as I don't know anything about them :)

I want to do one, but I'm not sure I have the time

edit: to munky

At least your amazon stuff arrived. Still waiting on mine, one of which is a philosophy textbook that I really rather need.

I'd say so, yeah. It'd have to be a good one though.

superpeer 02-15-2005 11:21 AM

So my alarm clock didn't go off for some reason this morning. So I woke up at 9:00 AM and the lecture started at 9:30, so I didn't bother hurrying. So I arrived at the University at the end of that lecture. Joined up with my friends and we went to a pub, because our next class was only at 2. Drank a couple of beers (different kinds though), went to eat some place and went to that class at 2. Turns out things had been changed and there was no class. So went back to the pub. :-/

So I went to University today, to have no class at all, and just spend all my money on food and booze. What a useless day. :upset:

Well, yeah. I just meant an especially good one, because I like Faith No More :)

I'm just talking to a (-n online) friend of mine for the first time in more or less a year now. He's had an interesting year so far; three court cases. Won two, lost one.

Hello. Your avatar has been a victim too, I see.

magicbus 02-15-2005 11:56 AM

Yea. Poor ol Clapton :upset:

I figured it would just get fixed eventually. You think that'll happen?

And can anybody send me Waka/Jawaka by Frank Zappa? (just the song, not whole cd)

clayman112388 02-15-2005 12:07 PM

Superpeer, keep your avatar like that, it's amazing!

Simple Man 02-15-2005 12:14 PM

How come our avatars are like that?

clayman112388 02-15-2005 12:15 PM

The database error, MX put up an announcement about it.

Ironically MX's avatar is the most distorted (aside from Bartender's) that I've seen, but he isn't doing a thing about it.

superpeer 02-15-2005 12:17 PM

What? I can't see distortion in my own avatar. :-/
