There's a new one? I am way out of the Metallica circle.

They are working on one, that's all we know.

Taste_My_Scythe 07-06-2005 12:52 PM

Oh ok, so it's not like there's a title out or anything. Good. I was beginning to feel really out of the loop, there.

Joe 07-06-2005 12:55 PM
To Gocaps:What kind of guita do you have? and Have you heard dyers eve live? Because you said live it's pretty incredible.
A Jackson and an Epiphone SG. I mostly use the SG
That is just plain sad. I mean there not even that similar. And more imoportantly were talking about a riff by METALLICA!!!....justa outa curiosity, can either of u guys play much of one?...like the long intricate clena intro>? or the classic Hammett solo at the end? i play the better part of it myself.
I can play most of that song perfectly. (Most)

I have sanitarium nailed, most of puppets (which you guys will hear cuz i'm submitting it. I'll tell you right now the main solo isn't perfect and the middle one is me improving, it's on purpose tho)
Oh ok, so it's not like there's a title out or anything. Good. I was beginning to feel really out of the loop, there.
No, nothing's out yet

Joe 07-06-2005 08:16 PM

wow it's been 3 pages and 8 hours since I last posted... no one's posted since???

So Metallica. What album and DVD do people want next? I want ReLoad and then Cliff Em' All

Bazarov 07-06-2005 08:17 PM

I'm thinking about buying Cliff Em' All, or actually any Metallica DVD for that matter. I have none.

Chu 07-06-2005 08:23 PM
Is that when people were arguing who is more technical and such?
Nah, someone came in ages ago and was asking who's better Hammett or Mustaine. ;)

I want Cliff 'em All, being in Australia though, it's not so easy :(
gocaps, I can't believe you don't have ReLoad?

Joe 07-06-2005 08:25 PM

I don't have it, but I want it. To be honest I really like what I've heard and I want to hear the rest. I don't have anything post black except S&M. I have a few various songs from YSI or friends, but none of the cds

Cliff 'Em All is probably online somewhere.

Hrothgar, get Live Sh*t Binge and Purge. It's the best (3 Cd's, 2 DVD's)

Bazarov 07-06-2005 08:30 PM

Hmmm I guess that's what I'll have to get at Best Buy next time I stop by.

hethamulburton 07-06-2005 08:41 PM

heavy metal kid 07-06-2005 08:47 PM

JonG 07-06-2005 08:47 PM

heavy metal kid 07-06-2005 08:53 PM
thank you for the warning
That's nothing, i like the best for these forums, now before someone see your post delete them(only the double and triple).

hethamulburton 07-06-2005 09:05 PM

got it all
do anyone know if metallica is planning on a new album soon, im curious to see if they include solos this time

FlyingPaul_83 07-06-2005 09:10 PM

Yes there is a new album, we don't know anything other than that they are working on one.

hethamulburton 07-06-2005 09:11 PM

ssssssswwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttt
i cant wait as long as they change the drum sound
anyone else hate that drum sound besides me

Bazarov 07-06-2005 09:13 PM

Wow, I didn't know they were working on one. Do you have a link?

I used to think that St. Anger was made to reach out to all the Nu-Metal fans and such so Metallica can get an even bigger fanbase, but after seeing Some Kind of Monster, I realized that Lars is a trendy bitch who controls almost every aspect of Metallica, and because he believes "Solos are classic" and "old" he'll most likely limit Kirk's soloing on the new album. But I hope not.

hethamulburton 07-07-2005 12:20 AM

id like to punch lars's face in man hes such an @$$

xtreme_skatah 07-07-2005 12:35 AM

^^^
True that

JonG 07-07-2005 12:38 AM

That's been said before, quit saying it over and over again. He may not be the best at drums but sure can sue people :)

heavy metal kid 07-07-2005 12:38 AM
That's been said before, quit saying it over and over again. He may not be the best at drums but sure can sue people :)
and he always wins, trust me.

Bazarov 07-07-2005 12:45 AM

I thought Lars dropped the Napster Case, once he realized it was hurting Metallica's fanbase.

I mean did any of you see that show on VH1 "Metallica Rules the World"? They showed clips of people out front of the courthouse braking Metallica CD/Records and ripping shirts up.

Drugstep 07-07-2005 12:52 AM

I thought it was pretty hip that he named all the users that downlaoded Metallica songs. It's like , "Hey, Lars just said my user name!" Lars is a decent drummer in my opinion, but he comes off as a really stupid person to me.

I think I'll hit 400 posts tonight.

stupid i don't think so, he's a financial genious.

Bazarov 07-07-2005 01:01 AM

He's an artist too, he sold a few of his paintings and made like 2 million dollars.

Drugstep 07-07-2005 01:08 AM

I dunno, I don't know much about him, but he just looks kind of dumb and he talks funny.

He got goddamn drunk during the art auction.

PepsiMetal 07-07-2005 01:10 AM
I thought Lars dropped the Napster Case, once he realized it was hurting Metallica's fanbase.
Well is Napster available for free music sharing now?

Eminem, Metallica (lars), and RIAA pretty much shut the napster down.

Kayetan 07-07-2005 01:13 AM

That's what yousendit threads are for now.

Bazarov 07-07-2005 01:15 AM

He talks funny because he from Denmark. Eminem tried to shut down Napster too?
