So upon a second listen to the e-card, I like the new Evergreen Terrace.

Yes, I'm posting at 7AM.

The entire Harcore/Emo forum is always dead at this time of day and for the next few hours.
Ha, nevermind, it works now. It looks nothing like mine. Mine is way more hardcore punk looking.
Actually that one doesn't look like yours, but the one they used on flyers looks a lot like yours.

ATTN: Cb and Showdown haters alike

Listen to that song, "A Monument Encased in Ash"

HOW can you hate that?!

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 10:20 AM

Too much guitar solo-y stuff.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 10:22 AM

Oh boy, this is bad. I was expecting to go in there and kinda like it, but I just can't. I'm sorry.

kodan armada 06-07-2005 11:58 AM

The new darkest hour is good.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 12:02 PM

I want it.

That was pretty awesome although I didn't like the vocals too much in places. Know where I can get any of their stuff to download?

Let's Chop Cats! 06-07-2005 12:20 PM

Ahhh, I guess metal has no place in here :upset:

Different songs on each page. They used to have all of them able to download but it looks like you can just stream them now. Listen and if you like it I'll yousendit the album.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 03:35 PM

I like metal, but that's just bad. I'm sorry Buddy, I'd like to back you up on this one, but I can't.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 06-07-2005 03:39 PM

Ha, an old friend of mine used to be really good friends with The Showdown, and talks about them constantly.

I personally, can hardly stand them...But...Oh, well.

Electric Ocean 06-07-2005 03:44 PM

I just listened to the stuff on purevolume and the music was awesome and the so were the vocals in places but other times they came across as (dare I say it...) sort of Avenged Sevenfold-y in others.

BuddyBigsby 06-07-2005 03:48 PM
I like metal, but that's just bad. I'm sorry Buddy, I'd like to back you up on this one, but I can't.
No, it's great. How can you claim to like metal and say it has too much guitar solo-y stuff? BLASPHEMER! *draws battle axe and dons chainmail*

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 03:48 PM

Just the beginning of that one song. They over did it.

BuddyBigsby 06-07-2005 03:49 PM

No such thing.

BuddyBigsby 06-07-2005 03:53 PM

Tyler knows what's up.

Luxor 06-07-2005 03:55 PM

Southern rock-metal. :amaze:

The clean vocals were kinda lame. But other than that, they were good.

_Tyler 06-07-2005 03:56 PM

Wow I love the guitars in that song

NewKindofArmy03 06-07-2005 04:16 PM

Yeah, I liked everything but the vocals.

_Tyler 06-07-2005 04:17 PM

The vocals aren't that bad.

Electric Ocean 06-07-2005 04:20 PM

They kind of grated on me in places, I'm not the biggest fan of most metal vocals though.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 06-07-2005 04:21 PM

I'm pretty much listening to Seventeen, by Ladytron.

I feel so dirty...

Check out this band. Cool guitar, and the vocals are very annoying at first, but I got used to them. This and some other song are the only ones i've heard by them.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-07-2005 04:32 PM

Those vocals are WACK! I expected them to be annoying, but I wasn't ready for that.

NewKindofArmy03 06-07-2005 04:33 PM

Haha, same way I felt at first. But I liked the music a lot, so I somewhat forced them on me.
