That's cool.
For five minutes.
What happens when he hits his 50's and his skin starts sagging?
At least he's a positive role model for the kids

iamrockzorz 09-16-2007 01:29 PM
Pretty much.

Wow, I felt a mixture of nerdy awe and realist "he's never seeing a pussy" surge when I saw that.

lunchforthesky 09-16-2007 02:29 PM

Anyone have the link to that massive long list of megaupload links for emo albums?

team_racket 09-16-2007 02:31 PM

honestly i hate when people make THIS arguement

seriously as a fifty year old with saggy skin what does it matter if you have a tattoo or not. i hardly ever see a fifty year old man where i say "well he would be a pretty attractive guy if it wasn't for that tattoo on his sagging arm flesh."

if you are telling me you are looking foward to life after 50 then i feel bad for you

iamrockzorz 09-16-2007 05:33 PM

hugh hefner

This is why I want to die before 40.

iamrockzorz 09-16-2007 09:12 PM

What do you guys listen to primarily? Genre wise? I've pretty much selected the handful of emo bands i like that i listen to all the time, but i don't listen to that much emo.

cobert 09-16-2007 09:48 PM

Hardcore. Pop-punk.

cbmartinez 09-16-2007 09:50 PM

wow I hope no one is considering going to La Salle

santi3hg 09-16-2007 09:50 PM

Um.

Can't say. Been listening to a lot of folk and post rock lately.

cbmartinez 09-16-2007 10:05 PM

Botch is so br00tal

AndreTheHyena 09-16-2007 10:13 PM

I finally got around to listening to Frame and Canvas. Goddamn, that record is good.

Johnny Quest. 09-17-2007 11:54 AM

Anyone else think the latest Still Life is really good. I can't get enough of that album.

The Antique 09-17-2007 12:41 PM

haven't really released something for two years but whatever

cobert 09-17-2007 12:45 PM
Botch is so br00tal
I never liked them.
I finally got around to listening to Frame and Canvas. Goddamn, that record is good.
If Im in the right mood it rules.

How can you not like Botch, Dilbert?

santi3hg 09-17-2007 01:02 PM

Seriously. Botch rules.

cobert 09-17-2007 02:41 PM

Just heard Ayo Technology.

Worst song of 2007.

cbmartinez 09-17-2007 03:01 PM

Botch is so siq, Cob, get into it.

cobert 09-17-2007 03:04 PM

It's not bad, just overrated. My one friend kept making me listen to We Are The Romans and it was good in parts but not nearly as good as everyone says it should be.

And its not nearly as good as this AYO TECHNOLOGY.

EDIT: Also, Botch just sounds like a better version of Norma Jean to me.

cbmartinez 09-17-2007 03:07 PM

I thought it was overrated at first too, but I kept listening and I think it's definitely one of the best metalcore albums ever.

cobert 09-17-2007 03:09 PM

Ill try it out a bit more, but Im not super huge on metalcore but whatever.

But the one dude started These Arms Are Snakes, who are good.

santi3hg 09-17-2007 03:11 PM

And minus the bear.

cobert 09-17-2007 03:14 PM

Another band I don't get the hype over.

SGlove 09-17-2007 03:20 PM

Why is megaupload sending me in circles and not letting me download any of those awesome bands?

And Matt, that's my argument because that's how I view tats.
I don't think I'll ever get anything I could possibly regret or have to explain to my kids.
When I see old dudes with tattoos that used to be cool, that sucks cause it was a one time thing whereas tats are supposed to be a lifetime thing.
I hate stupid tattoos and his sleeves are beyond retarded.

santi3hg 09-17-2007 03:38 PM
Another band I don't get the hype over.
Cob, you're disappointing me man.

cbmartinez 09-17-2007 03:39 PM

TAAS are too good

cobert 09-17-2007 03:41 PM

Chris, I wanna be able to stick my fist in your mouth and feel all thirty-two.

cbmartinez 09-17-2007 03:54 PM

Cob, I want to watch you toss in your sleep

cobert 09-17-2007 03:58 PM

WTF is that song about?

And I guess just the album in general.

cobert 09-17-2007 04:04 PM

Oh and that song is a forreal forreal barn burner. I cum in my pants when he screams the few times in that song (A REAL LACK OF SLEEP!)

cbmartinez 09-17-2007 04:16 PM

i think the song is about how a mother has children and like quits her job and then like she experiences like depression because she has to just stay at home and watch her kids. Hence, the lines like "I wanna see the building where you used to work in." And I'm not sure, but her husband might have also left her which contributes to the depression. Basically, I think it's about a kind of post partum depression, like dealing with the fact that having children isn't this glorious occasion, it's really kind of depressing because you lose your freedom and stuff.
