Still can't get over "Heartbeats". Am going to check out Jose Gonzalez's cover to see how it compares*.

perriwinkle 02-20-2007 10:44 PM

his cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart is sooo sweet.

pixiesfanyo 02-20-2007 11:14 PM

JonM 02-21-2007 12:23 AM
panacea - ink is my drink
I think this album is really weird. I like it stoned, but I can't tell yet if I will tomorrow.

pixiesfanyo 02-21-2007 01:13 AM

Tiamat - Wild Honey

Forgot how good this was.

bleep_bloop 02-21-2007 01:20 AM

His Hero Is Gone - Monument To Thieves
Hot Chip - The Warning
Suicidal Tendencies - S/T
The DFA - The DFA Remixes Vol. 2

Zmev 02-21-2007 01:41 AM

The Delgados - Hate

JonM 02-21-2007 01:47 AM

I'm digging The Most Serene Republic's Phages. It's called an EP, but it's 33 minutes long, 8 songs, so it's really almost worthy of calling an album. Plus, every single second of it is really fucking awesome.

Bukowski 02-21-2007 05:42 AM
Wowee Zowee is sooo much better than Crooked Rain and close to Slanted's greatness.
agree with this.

Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation

I think I'll explode if I get to see this album performed live. Explode with joy, ecstacy, euphoria, etc.

Eliminator 02-21-2007 08:30 AM

UNKLE - Pysence Fiction

br3ad_man 02-21-2007 09:05 AM

Yo La Tengo - I Am Not Afraid...

Should be seeing them a week from Saturday, as long as it doesn't sell out before I get a chance to pick up a ticket. Should be awesome.

Kyle 02-21-2007 09:39 AM

Ooo don't hesitate, they are so awesome live :)

Buckethead - The Elephant Mans Alarm Clock

The Jungler 02-21-2007 10:04 AM
UNKLE - Pysence Fiction
Album owns, especially Rabbit in Your Headlights, Lonely Soul and Nursery Rhyme (or whatever the Badly Drawn Boy track is called).

AlienEater 02-21-2007 10:54 AM
Ooo don't hesitate, they are so awesome live :)
yeah they are pretty good live

Kyle 02-21-2007 11:21 AM

The Chemical Brothers - Push the button

The Jungler 02-21-2007 12:02 PM

Broken Social Scene - You Forgot it in People

First time listening to any BSS. CD rules harder than I expected.

JonM 02-21-2007 01:26 PM

Ooh yeah that CD is mad good.

I'm digging The Junior Boys. I just got Last Exit

Sepstrup 02-21-2007 03:01 PM

Listening to Arcade Fire - Funeral. It's still a fantastic album. Am I crazy if Crown of Love is possibly my least favorite track on the album? It seems to get so much love from everyone else.

Eliminator 02-21-2007 03:02 PM

Worst track is probably neighborhood two or three or four

Sepstrup 02-21-2007 03:08 PM

That might also be. I heard someone say that it was 'Wake Up' which is just a silly thing to say.

I'll listen to Broken Social Scene afterwards. Never heard it before. Can I expect good things from their s/t?

perriwinkle 02-21-2007 03:15 PM

i like You Forgot It In People more personally

Eliminator 02-21-2007 06:41 PM

avey tare and panda bear - spirit they're gone spirite they've vanished, hollinndagain

br3ad_man 02-21-2007 07:00 PM

Worst song on Funeral is "Haiti". Easily.

Eliminator 02-21-2007 07:03 PM

no it's not

br3ad_man 02-21-2007 07:12 PM

"Haiti" sucks ***.

perriwinkle 02-21-2007 07:23 PM

that scream in Monkey Trick...

YDload 02-21-2007 07:36 PM
that scream in Monkey Trick...
i like the part where the riff drops down to E better and Duane's just holdin some abrasive chords for several beats

In so much as they don't know

Tangy zizzle 02-21-2007 07:52 PM

Hey Ian. Yup, the place still seems pretty stale. I'd love to see a mutiny or something. An art-wank revolt.

br3ad_man 02-21-2007 08:03 PM

Hey Matt. Nice to see you around here. It's a nice break from the usual bullshit. :)

Kage 02-21-2007 08:05 PM

I'm enjoying Russian Circles - Enter right now.

JonM 02-21-2007 08:10 PM

Why didn't anybody tell me how dope At War With The Mystics is?

Zebra 02-21-2007 08:16 PM

because it sucks

JonM 02-21-2007 08:18 PM

It does not.

Jawaharal 02-21-2007 08:18 PM
