Oh god Berk, you know nothing about real teenagers.

Berk 05-16-2008 06:21 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 06:23 PM

Berk 05-16-2008 06:31 PM

BummerJonny 05-16-2008 06:33 PM
sorry, i dont know what funny stuff and a "full 8th" means.
funny stuff = weed

8th - about $40 worth, in the uk.

Panopticon 05-16-2008 06:35 PM

Mostly I have to agree. Sadly
alittle. most off there stuff gets really boring after awhile.
Lies.

And besides the term 'most of their stuff' is sayin alot lol considering how much they actually put out

Win A Rabbit 05-16-2008 06:39 PM

yeah drugs automatically make you good at music

Berk 05-16-2008 06:40 PM

nonono u r wrong ttly zomg wtf

Sponer 05-16-2008 06:44 PM

Doesn't mean doing drugs makes you produce good music... just, wtf else are you going to do sitting in a van driving from one state to the next betweeen shows?

Also, I still don't know my piss test results. :(

Win A Rabbit 05-16-2008 06:45 PM

prob dropping acid would be a good idea in that situation

plus it makes you write good songs and play your instrument good

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 06:49 PM

Lol. I actually looked it up. And Minor Threats complete recorded history is only 40:49 min long

Sponer 05-16-2008 06:53 PM

so anyway, I think I want to pick up some mallets to use on the kit. does it really matter what type I get? I mean, obviously I'm not gonna get a huge concert bass drum beater, but will any soft, small to medium-sized mallets work?

Harrow 05-16-2008 06:56 PM

I would get hard felt covered cart wheel mallets for kit use, if the mallets are like yarn or too soft they wont be able to draw much of a sound out of your drums.

iamjoe2 05-16-2008 06:58 PM

drugs dont make you a good musician, they may give you musical ideas or creativity but not an overall good musician

examples? whitney huston, KEITH RICHARDS lol hes is the god of cocaine addiction

http://www.musicgoround.com/gear/inventorydetails.asp?id=645969

I recommend.

Harrow 05-16-2008 07:11 PM

So I think I might be buying a Mapex Pro M shell pack (the jazz version).

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 07:14 PM

Cool. What colour?

Harrow 05-16-2008 07:15 PM
Cool. What colour?
I think I'm going to go with the Sapphire Fade with chrome hardware.

I was originally planning on building a stave kit this summer, but that would be much more expensive and time consuming, I would rather practice the drums instead of my woodcrafting skills -_-

SgtPrimus 05-16-2008 07:16 PM

Frank Zappa about drugs and music

Ah cool.

Nice finish too

Harrow 05-16-2008 07:26 PM

Yeah it's the only finish I really like that Mapex offers, with the exception of some of the natural wood colors to black fade, like the Redwood Fade looks alright.

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 07:31 PM

Cool.

I like the electric berry burst. Lovein purple finishes like, next kits defo gonna be purple

Berk 05-16-2008 07:33 PM

So i made a vid of me blasting at 200bpm and its uploading on youtube.

who wants to see it?

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 07:37 PM

Not really. Don't dig blast beats

Berk 05-16-2008 07:37 PM

I do.

oliv_da_skinmasher 05-16-2008 07:39 PM
