I've been getting a lot more open with the people in the forum and am hoping that I am giving valuable advice.

But as time goes by, I fear I am becoming a spamwhore. So guys, am I?

Crapdragoon 08-06-2004 08:23 PM

Nahhhhh.

Foxfire 08-06-2004 09:04 PM

Wow. Just...wow. I'm not dating for a long time now. Just...wow.

Casual Stuff V.. Lets Jive..

Hmmm... nothing much to report on this end. I'm in a piss poor mood (BF issues).... and I'm bored.

I cleaned my room today. :) It took me seven months to get it clean in the first place.. now it only takes me a half hour to tidy it up and dust. :) (You must think I'm a slob, but when you live at work, and live in your car, and you are home more often than not.. just to sleep... things pile up.)

So, lets see..... What to talk about....

Oh.. I know.

Often times we don't know why we do things, or why we feel the way we do... Sometimes we have these feelings about something or other, and the feelings seem irrational. Like you shouldn't be feeling that way...

On Tuesday night, when my dad was in the hospital.. I was going through one of my psychotic episodes... and it wasn't so much because my father was in the hospital,(not that it helped) because a friend of my mom's had called and clued me in on my father's condition.. as her husband also has a bleeding ulcer.. (my parents like to tell me things and then not elaborate.. which leaves my incredibly pessimistic imagination to make up the rest).. anyway... I was feeling incredibly lonely and abandoned...

The next day I sat down to actually WRITE about it. Sometimes when we just think about things, we don't have linear thoughts (math: linear: straight line).. our minds are multitasking entities.. and we tend not to think things through. But when we force ourselves to think it through, by way of writing.. cause its awfully hard to go off onto different tangents when writing... we then can find the underlying causes of our behavior, thoughts, or feelings.

I found that I was incredibly pissed off at my father for waiting months and months before going to the doctor... and only going to the doctor because he absolutely had to. I was incredibly pissed off that my brother didn't come home from his GF house when I told him what was going on... that he stayed the night there... so I was left home alone.. and waiting and worrying about my dad. And I was incredibly pissed off at my BF for not calling me. (but he did call me later that night..)

So the moral of this story is.... the next time you are thinking, feeling or behaving in a way that you don't understand... think it through... write it out... and unless you are completely crazy like me... you'll figure it out :)

The end.

Thats a good thing though. How are you doing?

bottlerocket 08-06-2004 09:27 PM

Aw, I'm sorry LR. I hope stuff works out with your dad and your boyfriend and everything. You're a great person, and you're wicked cool and nice, too.

Ever need to talk feel free to IM me on AIM.

No, I'm not hitting on you via internet (I figure I'll say I'm not before someone posts the :naughty: picture and makes a reference about me "hitting" on you...)

Notice these are never "Casual?"

bottlerocket 08-06-2004 09:31 PM

Well LR, look at it this way: Your life couldn't be the hell hole my life was (and continues to be because of my awful parents...)

Read the threads if you forgot..."My Parents Took my Bass Away" and "The I0Play0Bass Adventure: The Final Outcome."
