Yea, I got 2 Felt albums. |
Red House Painters - Red House Painters I
Explosions in the Sky - All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone |
The Jesus Lizard - Head
The Jesus Lizard - Goat This band just get better every time you listen. Their guitarist is one of my favorites of all time. So brilliant. |
The Jesus Lizard - Head
The Jesus Lizard - Goat This band just get better every time you listen. Their guitarist is one of my favorites of all time. So brilliant.
my thoughts exactly. have you heard Liar yet? so great, it's right up there with Goat in my ears. |
Morrissey - Viva Hate
It's been a Morrissey kind of day :( |
my thoughts exactly. have you heard Liar yet? so great, it's right up there with Goat in my ears.
I've got Liar, but I haven't really given it a thorough listen yet. Definitely will soon, though. Tomorrow, for sure. I also have Shot, d'you know how that compares? |
Shot is one of the bands weakest albums with the exception of Blue.
|
I'm pretty close to being sure that Ghosts of the Great Highway is my favorite album ever. Give me a year or so to assure myself.
|
Black Star (not the Radiohead song, its Mos Def and Talib Kweli...classic)
Brian Jonestown Massacre - Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request Explosions in the Sky - All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone |
One Reason - All Rivers Run South, All Roads Lead Home
Compaired to the two songs that are on their split with Defiance, Ohio, I don't really care for it. |
Black Star (not the Radiohead song, its Mos Def and Talib Kweli...classic)
Oh, thanks for the clear up! |
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...
Air - Moon Safari probably my two most listened to atm. I can't wait for CL2 to come out. |
I agree with that statement.
Should be some FLY ASS SHIT. |
Fly ass shit up in here, nicca

I've been digging into Milton Nascimento & Lô Borges' Cluba da Esquina which is kinda amazing in spots. Some very typically Brazilian ballads but then they throw out some really fantastic Beatlesque pop-funk **** that has me all like, fly *** **** up in here, nicca. Also, listened to the Sea and Cake - Everybody about five times walking around today. Really great first side to it. Kinda neat the way they almost make the same album every time out but I still like it.
|
Sunn O))) & Boris - Altar
It turns out that despite that I really dislike Sunn O))), this is really awesome. I'm definitely going to the show. "The Sinking Belle" is almost like a Low song, beautiful. |
The Besnard Lakes - The Besnard Lakes are the Dark Horse
The Rolling Stones - Beggar's Banquet The Rolling Stones - Between the Buttons |
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Aim - Hinterland Panacea - Ink is My Drink |
Modest Mouse - The Moon & Antarctica
Giant Squid - Metridium Fields Murder By Death - Who Will Survive, And What Will Be Left? |
Time of Orchids - Sarcast While
|
So I got the new Apples In Stereo LP, and I could describe it as almost really good, so I got their Her Wallpaper Reverie EP, and I could describe this as close to great.

seu jorge
pother stuff |
Morphine - Cure for Pain
This is the first time that I've ever listened to Morphine and it's excellent. They're just as good if not better then what most people say. |
panacea - ink is my drink
|
Kyuss. :)
|
hey Nacho, in that Chunklet "Overrated" book, the section on OK Computer name-drops both the Chameleons and The La's (apparently that's what the album sounds like to people who have listened to way too much music)
|
Morphine - Cure for Pain

Birds of Wales
I didn't want to make a new thread about this but has anyone ever heard of these guys?
Here's a link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=e_Dkuw2iM50 They're not that well known but I think that they are great. Give opinions. |
nobody cares zepdude
|
That's too bad
EDIT: Damn it don't get me off topic! |
Blur - Parklife
Pavement - Wowee Zowee Parklife has a couple of annoying songs that i assume only british people can relate to/enjoy, but slower songs like Badhead and Clover Over Dover are great. Wowee Zowee is sooo much better than Crooked Rain and close to Slanted's greatness. |
wowee zowee is their best by a lot zooom pow zip bam wamo shabop
|
so I listened to The Diamond Sea for the first time and the song kicks ass and takes names.
|
listen to the 25 minute version
it rules harder |
VA - International Sad Hits Volume One: Altaic Language Group
The whole thing is good, but I'm digging the songs by Kim Doo Soo the best. They're really good. |
Dredg - Catch Without Arms
Good, but not El Cielo good. |
Silversun Pickups- dream at tempo 119
Good song, but I read some review where they trashed it. I thought that was unfair. |
