The only covers of Maiden songs i've enjoyed are the Dream Theatre covers of the NotB album.

I like Cradle's version of Hallowed. They really do add something new with the keyboards and the effects.

I really liked Dark Tranquility's cover of 22 Acacia Avenue.

I like Sonata Arctica's cover of Die With Your Boots On.

Even though they left out my favourite part of the song.

would be greatly appreciated if anyone anyone hook me up with some of these covers? :)

I didn't know Iced Earth did a cover of HBTN. I only thought they did a cover of Transylvania and NOTB.

I got Numbers from the Beast, which is kinda cool, but not ace.

I actually really enjoy their cover of NOTB, very different..... Theres a dude on youtbue who plays the zwan cover which sounds pretty cool.

And, i think i still have the opeth cover of remember tommorow if anyone wants it.....

iced earth covers own. get Tribute to the gods. youll get a whole load of great covers, along with HBTN and NotB.

Sadly Sonata's cover of Die With Your Boots On is...regretable at best. Seriously, their guitarist doesn't come close to recreating those awsome harmonies, their drummer doesn't hold a candle to Nicko, the keyboards are poorly implamented, and worst of all the bass is non excistent. And Tony's a good power metal singer and all, but he's woefully outclassed when trying to sing Maiden. Oh well, I'll just go listen to the original.

I sent the Hallowed cover to Temp, and I'll get Opeth's Remember Tomorrow for JamJar now.

yeah, i wasn't to impressed with their cover of that song.

the cover were mianly ment to be the ones done by cradle not the ones that make the song suck(Not saying they all do)

i haven't heard the IE covers of HBTN or NOTB, but i'm not a huge fan of their cover of Transylvania. it's just not the same song without Steve's crazy galloping.
