I don't dislike it, I just think it's a little repetitive

I was just kidding. Most of the songs on Dark Saga are reptitive if you look at it in a song structure view...not thats it bad..

i just got my BBE sonic maximizer stomp box yesterday. I can't believe i hadn't purchased one of these from day one.

People complain that the triple rectos lead tone is "thin". This COMPLETELY solves that problem. I've never been more happier with my tone

Lord Abortion 03-03-2006 08:56 AM

So I just ordered:

Cannibal Corpse-Vile
Autopsy-Mental Funeral
Sonata Arctica-Songs of silence
Running Wild-Port Royal
Gamma Ray-Somewhere out in space

kurrpt 03-03-2006 09:01 AM

i just got the dead world something or other Nevermore CD in the mail yesterday as well. That River Dragon song is amazing IMO

Stormrider 03-03-2006 09:24 AM

Dead Heart in a Dead World :p

I wish I could order some stuff. I would have ordered:

Edguy - Hellfire Club
Death - Individual Thought Patterns
Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black
Opeth - Orchid

Probably that for now.

Good morning starshine, the earth says hello!

/yawn

It's eaaaarly. I was up until 6 with Ben on the phone, and I had to wake up at 7:30. Not cool. Ah well. It was worth it.

Ollie! I haven't seen you in ages!! How are you, my fair englishman? ;)

Not bad at all. Nice to see you so cheery.

Still the same loveable rogue I always was :p

Taste_My_Scythe 03-03-2006 09:41 AM

Of course you are. :D

I've missed seeing everyone around here. I was on for a bit last night and realized that. The HateCrew Elite forum is down, so I thought I'd check up and see what was going on. Glad I did.

So what've you been up to?

reasonable eventful couple of months really.

Taste_My_Scythe 03-03-2006 09:54 AM

I heard about your girlfriend...I'm really sorry. :upset: I couldn't believe it when Ben told me about it.

How were Cradle of Filth (I'm a fangirl now, thanks to you and Ben) and Dragonforce?

Thanks. Not the whole album but 1 or 2 songs from it would be great :)

I've been wanting Orchid for a long while now. Saw it in stores at 30.99. So I figured I'll be ordering it over the internet.

Ah, s'ok. I'm not one to complain, it was great while it lasted, but meh.

Cradle were really great, me being two rows from the front in line with Dani. Atmosphere was fantastic and they were, as usual, musically excellent.

Dragonforce were musically good, but the atmosphere was apalling, too many scenester kids and not as many people there for the music.
Never mind, they were better last time, and will be better next.

Wow...that sounds cool. I'd love to see Filth. Are they still touring? I should check the dates...

I just got paid today, but it was only £30 all told. I try not to spend more than that at any given CD order now.

I also need to fork out £25 for my CC train ticket.

Unfortunately not, that was just a small UK tour before Christmas. Not a world one.

Taste_My_Scythe 03-03-2006 10:05 AM

Has anyone written a musical before?

EDIT: Ah...alright. Grrr. Next time, then.

Nope, I've acted in plenty though.
No but now I am.
Really? How are you doing it?
I'm attempting to write one too; for school. We had a couple ideas (Napoleon Dynamite: The Musical, and such) but in the end it was between Interview With a Vampire or Pirates of the Caribbean to make a musical. We're doing Pirates. I'm supposed to write the script.

EDIT: Ollie - you can act/sing?

Yeah, I have ever since I was a little kid. I study Drama at school and I'm in two or three plays a year quite apart from exam pieces

Taste_My_Scythe 03-03-2006 10:22 AM

That's pretty cool. I haven't done anything like that.
Actually, my group for a Civil Rights class made a movie...and it was a lot of fun. Very...Monty Python like. :D

I don't know. I haven't quite figured it out yet.
If you're doing Pirates of the Carribean, I'd try and follow the actual script as much as possible without directly copying it and turn dramatic scenes like where Elizabeth Swan is being chased into songs.

Right. I've found a script of the movie, and I've got a general sort of cast listing. I'm just not sure as to how I can make it not only as interesting and humorous as the movie, but not lame.

Yeah, Played the lead in Oedipus last year, and I'm doing the same in King Lear this summer.

Taste_My_Scythe 03-03-2006 10:29 AM

Wow...Shakespeare. That should be fun. I've seen King Lear...good stuff. I saw Hamlet too. I have to say I liked that one better.

EDIT: I've better get crackin' on this script. It was great talking to you all. ciao ciao
