Six Foot Revolver 02-08-2005 07:11 AM

Nope, not while they have Axl Rose as a singer

Illmatic 02-08-2005 03:02 PM
Do you know why? Have you heard what's out there these days. There's not alot of music out there that's going to stand the test of time. Hip/hop - rap ? I think they left the "C" out of it - "CRAP".
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Broken Arrow 02-08-2005 03:06 PM

Yeah I just stopped reading that paragraph.

jpj 02-08-2005 03:13 PM
a little late but i believe the term is "african-american"... unless you were talking about the pedal steel part...

i saw him when he opened for clapton too and its a tough call between them.
Are the Kinks the new fad or what?

jpj 02-08-2005 03:25 PM
Are the Kinks the new fad or what?
Actually, I think they are. You better hop on the bandwagon.

Broken Arrow 02-08-2005 03:27 PM
Actually, I think they are. You better hop on the bandwagon.
I'll get in to them later when it's not cool to like the Kinks.
I'll get in to them later when it's not cool to like the Kinks.
That's actually not a bad idea.

Badmoon 02-08-2005 03:59 PM
well im asian. fellow minorites. united against whitey. who else is in?

oh and my bum/hobo comment was about your usage of "wino"
Do you get called Asian American often. I know I don't get called Irish American often. Do these Black fellows deserve any better?
Yeah, whites don't have much to fear about Asians
To be honest, white people have no one to fear but other white people.

jpj 02-08-2005 04:02 PM
Do you get called Asian American often. I know I don't get called Irish American often. Do these Black fellows deserve any better?
Exactly. I think I'd like to to be German-Hungarian-Italian-American from now on. Being called "white" is so racist and degrading.

glass_tiger 02-08-2005 04:17 PM

I realize that this has nothing to do with what's going on in this thread right now, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I have no idea what sparked it, but I am entirely in love with classic rock. I'm still in high school, but I don't listen to anything after the 1980s. I just can't get into it. Anyway, I love bands like The Beatles, Boston, Supertramp, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...anything like that. I just recently got into Kansas as well. I need their greatest hits...

As soon as Woodstock and his chronies get obsessed with another band, I'll tell you. Then I can send you some of their stuff.

jpj 02-08-2005 04:53 PM
What is your favorite song off VGPS?
Picture Book, Last of the Steam-Powered Trains, and All of my Friends Were There.

Woodstock 02-08-2005 04:55 PM
Picture Book, Last of the Steam-Powered Trains, and All of my Friends Were There.
Last of the Steam Powered Train is a good song, just kinda seems out of place as a blues song in an album full of Brit-pop.

Mine would be Wicked Annabella, Do You Remember Walter?, and Johnny Thunder.

jpj 02-08-2005 04:58 PM

Yea, Wicked Annabella is a great song.

Don't you think the riff in Last Stem-Powered Train sounds like the riff in Smokestack Lightning?

Thats weird because all JPJ's favourites were not any of Woostocks favourites.

Woodstock 02-08-2005 05:00 PM

Ah, we both like Wicked Annabella. Now stop whoring into our conversation if you have nothing nice to say

JPJ is pretending to have independent thoughts.

Whenever I read one of JPJ's posts I always think it in a sort of high pitched 8 year old's voice. I don't think that's what he was trying to seem like...

Soo umm, classic rock is coo.

Who's the bassist from Yes? I just realised that he kicks ***.
