Today i was having a listen to A Real Live Dead One and i made a bit of a discovery which confused me slightly. On the back of the CD case it appears to have a picture of Maiden with what looks like Adrian and a SSOASS backdrop, now what is that doing on a CD from the Janick/FOTD time period:confused:

Maybe they ran out of pictures? :p

I'm still attempting to Maidenise my band, so far my only success is getting them to play the intro to RTTH.

Just got back form the London guitar show, Nicko's playing was fu[SIZE="2"]c[/SIZE]king awesome as usual. I went up to him and got his autograph after which was pretty sweet.

Same thing is happening to me. Theyre more into playing Metallica.

I'm kinda starting a band, and everyone in it loves Maiden so no problems there. I do need another guitar player to round out the band.

It can still go pear shaped, the only free bass player we know likes super heavy and fast grindcore and there are like 3 drummers in Hull. It has taken me like 4 bands to get a chappy that likes Maiden.

The rest of my band dont really listen to maiden anymore, that is except my drummer. we've only played the trooper and the wicker man. And to piss the rest of the band members off , in the middle of a song me and the drummer will just go straight into RTTH.

Iron maiden destoys band practices.

i saw Ollie's band do Iced Earth's Burning Times, and then The Trooper, at school the other week, on the charity day thing we had. i wish there were more metalheads at school, not just chavs :upset:

My band are playing the final assembly at school this friday. I wanted to do something along the lines of Maiden but now we're doing Fall Out Boy :angry:

I must change this.

oh dear god. i...tolerate Fall Out Boy, but only because my gf listens to them. Dance Dance is bearable, but Sugar We're Going Down is officially the most annoying song ever.

when she gets her mp3 player back this week, she wants me to put a load of music on it, that i have (RHCP, Lostprohpets, Maroon 5, Green Day, etc) and "anything she should like". i think i'll give her a load of maiden, metallica, bruce, etc, i'll just leave out the death metal.

My band wants to do Sugar We're going Down. I like Dance Dance and we've played that before so I'd rather do that.

I'll only play it if I can play the tetris theme halfway through.

I'm gonna try and get us to do Hallowed be thy name.

i can't even remember the tetris theme, it's so long since i've played it.

ugh, Fall Out Boy. It seems everyone in my area likes them except for me, and there's only a small amount of people who like Maiden. It's just not fair:upset:
