Oh yeah, defenitely. When I was living in the Coachella Valley I was always amazed by the hype and all the bands being brought down there. Last year it was a trip having Nine Inch Nails basically playing in my grandpa's backyard :p

My school let us out 20 minutes early which is pretty lame. We should have gotten out much earlier. The roads were horrible.

I thought I'd check out what's been going on lately and say hi to everyone. :) Hi!
It's been inSANE over here, and I haven't had a lot of time to myself. Which sucks. Or else, I'd probably be more in tune to what's been happening here.

So, my guitar teacher is playing manager for me, and I've got a "gig" at my school playing at an art gallery at the end of this month. We're putting together a portfolio of sorts of solo pieces for moi. It's going to be cool. If people seem to be interested in me, $35 an hour for starting gigs. :D I'm really excited about this, because it seems to be getting really serious.
If this works out....hell. I'm good. I'll quit my day job (cashiering at Target) in a heartbeat. It's not bad...but nasty old guys (and nasty young ones too) hit on me too much. It's quite annoying.

Anyway. Hope to see you all around more often. :wave:

Yes, it was nice of them to give it to me too. I went into the hospital right after I applied and was interviewed, and they held the job for me. :) It's really not bad, cashiering. Though, the last couple days it's been really slow...so it gets boring. But hell, $7.25 an hour isn't bad.

Lot better than my $6.40 an hour.

But I guess Target is very different from that.

I wish I could do more with music. :( I'm still just one guy with barely any experience playing with more than one person. Not many people will pay to listen to an amateur metal guitarist either.

Yeah so... Completely urnelated to music... but good enough for the community thread, Do you guys know of any interesting pieces of artwork I can copy/get so I can paint it for my art class?

Anything goes really, but the least corpses, nudity, skulls, blood and boobies it includes the better.
