Man I'm depressed.
First, my snare strainer (which has been screwy for the past four years) finally broke. Luckily I can an almost identical strainer from drum maker for $20.

Secondly, my favorite cymbal I've ever had (behind my China High 18"), my Vault 17", suddenly developed a crack from the outside edge to about 3/4ths of an inch directly towards the bell of the cymbal. I'm heart broken. LUCKILY, I just sold my rack for around $300. I wanted to get new pedals but I suppose I'll stick with my Elims for now and replace this crash. I'd like something similar (but bigger) to the dark complex sound of a vault. I like thinner crashes (though not as thin as some Bosphorus, as I do play mostly hard rock and metal.) I guess I'll go to the Cymbal Finder thread.

18" Meinl Byzance Dark Crash sounds close to what you are looking for, Istanbul Agop Sigs are also dark, but a great deal thinner than the Byzance.

normally i don't disagree with things that aren't totally my decision but today i disagreed alot, but held most of it back once i realized i was the only one looking at it realistically.

wouldn't that give the testers a clue. I mean, normal people don't piss green, and if he took a detox, it's pretty obvious that he did drugs.

no like he knew about the piss test like 4 days before, and took a 3 day detox. so all that pissing and sweating was before. it was $90, but it guaranteed that if you failed your drug test it would pay you back double.

They actually never pay you back if you fail because of illegal drugs.

2 people I know have tried to get their money back after failing and they couldn't receive payment under the pretext that it was because of illegal drug use. They will pay you money if you fail a test for something that is not illegal, but if it is against the law in the particular country that you are a resident of they will do nothing. Remember these things are sold in many countries where marijuana and other recreational drugs are legal. If you don't believe me try writing to them about getting your money back from a failed test, I'm speaking from experience knowing people that have failed trying :o
