We're getting married, Neko Case oh I love that Female. |
It's too "Norwegian Wood," Jon.
It must have been subconscious, because someone around here was talking about that song recently and I just overheard it and acknowledged that it was a good song. I haven't listened to it in a while, though. I suppose it's more than a coincidence, though. This open tuning, sitar-sounding stuff I do and have done for a long time is very much George Harrison-inspired. I'm glad you liked it, Snidg. I wasn't actually going for a two-guitar sound; I just wrote the thing on one and beefed it up with another. If/when I do more with this idea, there will be much more going on. |

How cool are the last two tracks on Amnesiac.
Probably my two favorite RH songs. |
Whos down for some community thread spin the bottle?

I didn't get into a cappella. So, I'm bummed, but part of me is thinking "why do you want to be in a cappella? You play an instrument!" And in an ironic twist of fate, I wrote an instrumental today. How bizarre.

Nothing wrong with being in a capella, I might be joining a vocal choir on Wednesday, my friend is giving me the music this weeked.

That was just bullshit to make myself feel better. I really, really wanted to do it. |
I guess there's no point in this just sitting, stagnant and unmixed, on my computer. This is the demo of the second song I did with my friend Mike. There are no vocals, except for the talking in the introduction, and we're really happy with what we've got so far, even in its incomplete state. I promise you'll like this. I'm really, really proud of it, and it's not acoustic or folky.

*insert indie kid list between here* ...comets on fire, boredoms, talib kweli, kanye west, mf doom, black mountain etc. Has anyone here heard ALL of these?
Obviously I've only heard of a portion of those bands, but I think ending it with "etc" is pretty ironic. |

Haha you use myspace .../:upset: |
I've heard OF a rather large chunk of those, and actually heard a smaller chunk.
Poser++. |
I've heard about 70% of those.
Why would they be a poser?
Maybe they copied that list from somewhere else and put it on their profile. I mean think about it, couldn't I have done that with what I've copied and pasted right there? I could, and you would be powerless to stop me. |
