I think they just suck. Not just because they're a retro thrash band. They're unoriginal shitty music. Which also happens to be 99% of the retro thrash bands.

War Without End was fun, nothing more. Latest one was boring.

Even if that **** DID come out in like 1988. It would have been generic as **** then too.

Listening to another new Slayer song. God this is ****ing ghey. Not to mention the thinnest, weakest guitar tone I've ever heard. I've heard punk bands from the late 70s have more filth in their sound. Not mention, they think they can pull off breakdowns apparently now.

Some guy over on Thrash Unlimited said that the album is surprisingly good; very moody/atmospheric (like Seasons, I guess) and made it seem that besides Psychopathy Red, the other two released songs don't do the entire album justice.

I hope that's the case and he isn't bullpoopting...but I highly doubt it.

idk I really enjoyed Psychopathy Red and the feedback on that song has been pretty positive...the other two songs, not so much.

Personally, I found that song pretty bad, ESPECIALLY Tom's vocals. They're like rusty nails being scraped onto a chalkboard.

And if Psychopathy Red is any hint as to the rest of the album... Let's just say I'll be really surprised if Megadeth ends up with the better album. But it's really looking that way.
