Yeah - as Gaslight said, my neck has been giving me trouble, and it hurts most when I study (looking down at a book, or paper on a desk is painful. What's even worse if looking down at a book, then turning to look at a piece of paper to write notes.), so I have to use that machine pretty much every day.

wow that really sucks

Yeah, it's not very fun - I've had to give up playing alto saxophone because of it, and I can't really play bass standing up anymore.

The only good thing to come out of it is that my pain tolerance (although already pretty good before) is a lot better than it was.

Because the electrodes sit just below my neck (on those muscles that connect your shoulders to your neck), it's only effective on my neck and shoulders. Basically, I can't really feel any (a little, but nothing significant) pain while it's on, and for about 30-60mins afterwards.
