What the fuck did you just say?

Seafroggys 02-06-2005 04:16 PM

You know he will play Freedom. C'mon, he's lpaying to a 'football' audience. They tend to love America and are 'patriots' and that sort of ****. You know that's what he'll play.

Here's hoping for some Helta Skelta :thumb:

ANGUS YOUNG13 02-06-2005 04:17 PM

^^^^^yeh did you see it too?

That'd be awesome. Too bad it wont happen ever.

Broken Arrow 02-06-2005 04:17 PM

I like football but I hate America.

ANGUS YOUNG13 02-06-2005 04:18 PM

ANGUS YOUNG13 02-06-2005 04:21 PM
What the **** did you just say?
BludgeonySteve 02-06-2005 04:22 PM

He played Badmoon rising too :D

ANGUS YOUNG13 02-06-2005 04:23 PM

yeh that was it thanx, yeh so what did you think of john's performance, rock not roll

BludgeonySteve 02-06-2005 04:27 PM

I already said that it was great :). Just he sang Fortunate Son weird and so it was less kickass but still kickass.

Badmoon 02-06-2005 04:28 PM

Read my Dr. John review.

I don't think the beginning of the review is good, but I'm sure it's quite helpful.

ANGUS YOUNG13 02-06-2005 04:30 PM

I'll be sure to do that

man i cant wait till the super bowl starts who you guys think will win? I want the eagles to win. they re just so unexpected and underrated they just might win.

Why'd you call me a poser?

Badmoon 02-06-2005 04:35 PM

Did it offend you?

BludgeonySteve 02-06-2005 04:35 PM

Because you like jam bands that people have heard/care about.

jpj 02-06-2005 04:36 PM
Did it offend you?
Were you joking?

Badmoon 02-06-2005 04:37 PM

There was no point to it.

jpj 02-06-2005 04:38 PM
There was no point to it.
Which is why it confused me.

PinkFreud 02-06-2005 06:28 PM
yeh that was it thanx, yeh so what did you think of john's performance, rock not roll
oh no! he's invaded!

Broken Arrow 02-06-2005 07:37 PM

Paul was soo sweet, Drive My Car, Get Back and Hey Jude.

Also Live and Let Die.

So good.

magicbus 02-06-2005 07:40 PM

Kinda soft for a half time show, but I enjoyed it.

jpj 02-06-2005 07:40 PM

That was awesome, is he gonna tour again?

BludgeonySteve 02-06-2005 08:25 PM

Probably not. He's pretty old. He still rocked though :)

keep on phishin' 02-06-2005 08:47 PM

I read in an interview not too long ago that he was going to tour the U.S. starting next November. I don't know about any place else though.

RockAndRoll 02-06-2005 09:13 PM

Live and let Die always dissapoints me, that one quicker bit is just annoying and ruins the goodness of the other parts.

Woodstock 02-06-2005 09:23 PM

McCartney did a great job, I can't wait till he tours again.

I don't think the quicker part is that bad.

RockAndRoll 02-06-2005 09:33 PM
I don't think the quicker part is that bad.
It isn't really a great or even good part. I find it to be poor.

It could be better, but it still isn't bad

Badmoon 02-06-2005 09:39 PM

It would have been cooler if Paul would have played "Band on the Run" all the way through instead of the other songs he played.

What? No way. I liked the unusual choices.

Against Miik! 02-06-2005 09:42 PM

I was hoping for a Paul McCartney wardrobe malfunction

Johnny B. Good 02-06-2005 09:44 PM
I was hoping for a Paul McCartney wardrobe malfunction
Well if you noticed he had a star on the shirt he was wearing kinda like how Janet had a star on her boob

BludgeonySteve 02-06-2005 11:01 PM
I was hoping for a Paul McCartney wardrobe malfunction
Nah. He's too old. It would be all gross and wrinkley.

BillCosby 02-06-2005 11:05 PM

Paul should have kept the Na Na Nas going longer.

Like that time when I saw him live.

Seafroggys 02-06-2005 11:10 PM
Nah. He's too old. It would be all gross and wrinkley.
Yeah, but look how well he's aged. His face didn't start getting wrinkly until about 4 years ago, and even now he still looks great.

So, are you saying you would, like, do Paul McCartney?
