It's kind of blackened old school death metal. I hate saying the word, but it's a pretty brutal album and the vocals are... well, brutal I guess.

yeah, its old school death metal but they tend to be slower than other DM bands. And it's better than Dismember, later Autopsy and no...it's not better than Immolation.
