Unfortunately, I live not too far from the projects, and the kids there are getting pretty bold lately. Your story kind of makes me wonder...

I live near a few Ghettos, but not too close and not close enough to have to worry about encounters like that anytime regularly. On Halloween the kids from their used to come to my neighborhood and every now and then something would happen, but I don't go out on Halloween anymore so I don't know what happened with that.

My friend's brother got jumped by some Puerto Rican kid a little back, and then the next day, he showed up at the kid's house in a BM get-up, scared the kid ****less. funny thing, i used to hate them, but they are good people,they play what they can and now they don't bother me at all, i learned that i got to first judge a band by their general musicianship, and not by what they represent.
I don't even own a record or a song, but i have seen many live videos and they are o.k., still i'm not a fan at all.

This is the worst part about moving out of a dorm, and i suppose its even worse since im moving countries as well. I have everything packed up and cleaned and now im just waiting for people to come over to return the few things they borrowed from me, and try and give away the rest of my stuff and then just wait for the plane ride tomorrow morning.

Woke up a few minutes ago...

Saw a couple of movies yesterday...The Island, which was decent...Scarlet Johansson (sp?) was extremely hot in that movie. Dialogue was a bit skewed, but there was plenty of action. Not worth 9 bucks to go see...if you go see it at matinee, it's worth the money.

Then, my mom rented Million Dollar Baby...that was just...wow. The ending is so tragic...this one is a must see. A brilliant movie, well deserving of the praise that was heaped on it.

/\/\ and the girl is really hot too, sweaty boxing stuff++

I was going to see that last night but ended up staying home and watching Ice Princess instead. :amaze:
