If it has rabies it could bite you and you'd die.

gmoneyguy 03-01-2006 02:04 AM

My family had a ferret for about a month then we sold it. Its a pain in the ass to keep up with cleaning the cage, giving it excerise, feeding it, and bathing it. not too mention the smell, they like to run and hide from you, and they shit everywhere

Steerpike 03-01-2006 02:09 AM

My parents still entertain a retirement plan that features a ranch in Florida where they raise goats and greyhounds.

A friend of ours has two pet ferrets. One is fat. Really. Like the Chris Farley of ferrets. The other one likes to climb in people's shoes, even when they're still wearing them. We still haven't figured that one out yet.

They also have a labrador/husky mix that doesn't understand that he's not a lap dog.

Leper 03-01-2006 02:14 AM

Haha that sounds like the makings of many interesting visits.

No one got my Kindergarten Cop reference.:(

G'night all.

Stormrider 03-01-2006 08:08 AM

I used to have a ferret. It used to take someones shoe and try to bring it in a hole under one of the cabinets in the kitchen. It was funny.

kurrpt 03-01-2006 08:14 AM

my friend actually stole his second ferret from a pet store. Sounds a little far fetched i know, but the kid is pretty damn sneaky.

The one time we were at giant, they had one of those metal bells for the night shifts. He rang the bell to get the cashiers attension, then proceeded to steal the bell while the guy was ringing him out. We didnt notice till we got out in the parking lot

Mine died :( it wasn't old at all.
Same here. It was 6 years old though, which is stating to be old for a ferret.

Jev 03-01-2006 10:20 AM

Mine was 1 1/2 years old.

Stormrider 03-01-2006 10:21 AM

Oh. Do you know why it dies ? Disease or something ?

We had 2, but the male died at 1 and a half years old because of an infection.one of its little feet was swolen and the vetenarien had to put it to sleep :(

kurrpt 03-01-2006 10:21 AM

he probably got pissed at ya cause he couldnt eat meat..

Jev 03-01-2006 10:33 AM

It died because it didn't have a mate or something. I don't fully understand, it tried to give birth but it wasn't pregnant so instead, out came it's stomach. We had it put down.

kurrpt 03-01-2006 10:37 AM

o shi thats friggin NUTS

Stormrider 03-01-2006 10:37 AM

Oh, Thats weird. I don't fully understand either.

Nice. I remembering wanting a LTD then I kinda lost interest. I'd love to have a Jackson Kelly KE3 though.

Stormrider 03-01-2006 10:41 AM

Jacksons are cool. It's what I have now though...even though its a pretty low end model, Js -1.

If I ever get a 7 string, it will probably be a Schecter.

kurrpt 03-01-2006 10:41 AM

ex - 400?

whats that like?

I got my ESP steven carpenter 7 string sig guitar (baritone) last Friday. Saying it is SECKS, is an understatement, and frankly, its a little played out

SECKS

I have a low end Ibanez RG. Got it for £100. Apparently they stopped making the type I have now.

Stormrider 03-01-2006 10:43 AM

Those are the EX's.

Happy: What RG is it ?

kurrpt 03-01-2006 10:44 AM

seem alright. I was gonna get the schecter C7 hellraiser, but decided to go with the more expensive SRC sig

Jev 03-01-2006 10:45 AM

Ugh. James Hetfield's new ESP looks horrible.

Stormrider 03-01-2006 10:45 AM

To Kurrpt: Is that the one Loomis has ?

I don;t think the EX's are your type of guitar...

kurrpt 03-01-2006 10:47 AM

exactly. That was one of the selling points for me

im sure its a sweet guitar, dont get me wrong, but after i got my ESP, theres no fukking WAY it would be this nice. Id put money on it

Got any pics of the ESP you just got ?

Jev 03-01-2006 10:50 AM

Oh yeah, My guitar teacher won a competition and now a brand is making him a custom guitar for free.
Pink LEDs for fret dots FTW!

That is one nice guitar man. Fix bridge too :p

I don't like floyds as they are useless to me.

:(
Can I have it? Please?

kurrpt 03-01-2006 11:01 AM

i like floyds, ive just never spent the time to learn how to use em well, so i see no need for em. Ive had a JEM and a C1-FR, and wound up having the bar off more then it was on.

Happy : i traded a mesa Mark IV for this fukker

I'll take that as a no :(

I have a love/hate relationship with Floyds. On my Ibanez one of the locks at the nut doesn't lock so I can't really do anything with a whammy bar and i have to be extremely careful to keep it in tune. On the other hand I love my mate's Jackson RRV I have so much fun with it.
