Not a lot of active topics this time of day...
Umm... Whoever knows there this quote is from wins (?). "If you were a hot dog, and you were stranded in the dessert with nothing to eat, would you eat yoruself?!? I would use mustard." Good luck... |
I think you killed the thread radio!
I have no idea! Give us a clue... film, tv show, book etc. |
I tried googling it but came up with nothing:upset:
Edit: That's right, googling's a verb... |
I also tried that. It came up with family guy quotes about hotdogs.
|
That's what I got to. :p
|

Just got my new speakers wired up and sorted.
Say yes to the combination of a 160GB Ext-HDD as a jukebox with my entire cd collection on it, running out through a Creative SoundBlaster Extigy 24-bit external sound module, then out through shiny new TDK NXT speakers with a powerful sub that resembles a tank shell! |
I would probably be impressed if I knew what you were talking about. But, congrats anyways!
joe |
^ When you get bored of that, I can have it ...right?
|

joe
Think of it as a powerful high quality stereo with the biggest cd-multichanger you ever saw. |

Hah, do you know how much this lot cost me? The soundcard alone is worth £150! |
I'll just leave you my card :p.

Gotcha :thumb: Sounds good to me. I bet your neighbors want to kick your bass though. joe |
It's currently holding 100 albums, but that's barely scratched it. That's used 6.43 of the 160 Gigabytes of storage space available!
|
Wow... I know what I want for Christmas.
|
Compaq Presario 2143ea ~ £700
Maxtor 160GB Hardrive with Caddy ~£100 Extigy ~£150 TDK NXT speakers ~£50 That's a grand's worth of kit... of course, the laptop also plays games, surfs the net and gets used for work. |
Hey guys..... That's a massive amount of music Winter...... I want it....
|
Oh, I've got £40 wireless headphones for when loud music is antisocial.
The true beauty of having the cd collection uploaded is portability. When I go from home to uni I can pick up my music collection and put it in my pocket. |
On my dads comp we've got 362 hours, 25 min, and 40 seconds of music. Taking up 16369.5 mb.
joe |
That's a lot for headphones. Studio quality?

I don't even know if I like enough music to fill that.:amaze: |
Nice, nice. What bitrate is it at? I find anything less than 192kbps a bit tinny and lacking in punch.
Mind you, given that 192 is cd quality, anything over that is a waste. Hurray for 192kbps! |
I don't even know if I like enough music to fill that.:amaze:
You could always get 50 or so live versions of every song you like....

They are good quality, but it's the fact that they're wireless that adds to the price. I can hit play then go to the kitchen and make dinner, there's a little transmitter on my desk. Actually, I bet I could make it to the cornershop... experiment time! |

That would cover what...half a percent? :p |
I don't know what bit rate it is at. They are all recorded directly from our CD's though, and they all sound as good as CD quality, and they all reproduce onto other CD's perfectly. So... yeah.... as you can tell, I'm not the most trechnical person around ;)

My mom works at a library, and one of the companies they buy CD's from sent them nice headphones with them, and I've pirated them....
That would cover what...half a percent? My friend has a wireless internet transmitter in his house, he can pick it up from within one kilometre.
I'm going to get a wireless network thing when I get a laptop, so I can lie in bed and be on MX. |
