Sorry to intrude but I've just recently started to seriously listen to black metal. I've always liked it but never really paid a lot of attention to it, and now I have a lot of excellent death metal albums and not enough black metal ones. I really like dimmu borgir's puritanical euphoric misanthropia and immortal's sons of northern darkness. I also enjoyed vesania's distractive killusions. I want albums with good studio quality, sorry to be picky. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm sorry to bug you guys about it but I only have several BM albums, and I'd like to expand on that.

I meant explain as in tell me why the musical qualities of the albums (I don't go by bands, only albums) I listed are terrible. I don't see how so many people that generally have good opinions liked them here in this community, and supposedly they are ****. You can't even explain yourself, you sound like a dumbshit 12 year old who listens to bleeding through. You attacked my opinion without giving one example of a good album. Most good BM does not have the sound quality you are looking for, tbh.

Yeah, I see sound quality as kind of an extra thing for BM. If bands can afford to produce it well I don't see why not. I dislike purists so if they keep the quality like **** just to be BM pure, that's dumb.

I just think black metal should be largely DIY and low budget. Thats part of the reason why it is an interesting genre
