Is the whole labum, DoD, similiar to Paschendale ?

I'd say DoD and Face In The Sand are similar, ie they have an epicy feel to them. But generally no, the album is not the same.

exactly what i did, except it was the first 5 before anything else.

I don't really plan on gettign the whole discography...Meh we'll see :p

first one i got was DoD, then after that it was Powerslave and FotD, can't remember the order after that. The last one i got was Killers though:)

Its still great, though. Some of the shorter tracks like Rainmaker are awsome. Still though, I'd say get Powerslave, Killers, and/or Seventh Son next, but thats just my spin on it.

I started with BNW the day it came out, "borrowed" it from a friend, went to cd store bought Killers, PoM, NOTB and Powerslave the next day (they had a sale), and just slowly aquired them all, DoD was the last studio i got, and it's def one of, if not my fav.

I'm seeing Maiden at Earls Court on the second night.

BNW was my first Maiden album (Xmas pressie from my parents) but I was only 13 at the time and didn't really understand it. DoD came out when I was 15 and I got it as a birthday present for my friend, and I got RiR for my birthday at the same time (our birthdays are only a few days apart). I was blown away by it. Now I've got Iron Maiden, BNW, NotB, SSoaSS, BNW and DoD of studio albums.

SSoaSS is my favourite, then BNW, then DoD, then Iron Maiden, then NotB.

When i was 13 i traded my new found glory cd for the BNW cd to look h4x in front of my friends, of course i knew nothing about iron maiden at the time. So, i never really listened to it too much and i didnt physiclly buy it so i cant consider it my fdirst maiden cd bought.
