The Dunkin Donuts I live buy doesn't have bacon egg and cheese sandwiches! You live in Pennsylvania no? Next I go there, I'll have to complain. Unless I just have completely passed over seeing them.

I'm waiting for 11 o clock to come around. It's free pancakes day at the IHOP, and the place was crowded so I'm going to head over there when business will be minimal.
All of the Dunkin Donuts' I've been to have them, the one in Dublin, the one in Carlisle, all three here in Allentown, and the one in Bringintine.
I was listening to random tracks off of Something Wicked This Way Comes. They were all really good, I especially liked 1776. I need to check out more Iced Earth.
Something Wicked is realy good. Get Night of The Stormrider if your interested in another of their albums. My favorite of their albums. Or the live album, Alive in Athens.

For some songs umm...check out those:

Stormrider
Travel in Stygian
A Question of Heaven
Dracula
Dantes Inferno
Iced Earth (This one has aytrocious vocals...so beware. Well theres 2versions, the Barlow version and the orginal. Barlow version kicks ***, original is great but with bad vocals)

Jom 02-28-2006 09:41 PM
I wonder if anyone else realizes that this movie is about two devoutly religious Irish men who go on a killing spree after their favorite bar shuts down...that's not catering to stereotypes or anything.
dey wouldnt be stereotypes if dey werent true lol
IHOP is like Burger King. I don't recall ever getting sick after eating there but my stomach always enters a red terror level afterwards.
This was quality. hahahaha.

Steerpike 02-28-2006 09:42 PM

I just noticed there are no Savatage review on Sputnik. This must be rectified post-haste.

You should consider putting your MX articles as the band biographies, if they don't have bios already (for example, Savatage).

It would be nice, anyway.

In other news:

So apparently I now do narrarations in a friend's joke power metal band and random growling here and there for backing vocals.

He also asked me to come up with a name and make a logo, so I made:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v653/Eleventeen3/Miscelleneous/dragonsbane.jpg

Shadows 02-28-2006 10:26 PM

That would be a sweet logo if you could do the text in something more unique than Times New Roman.

Riva 02-28-2006 10:28 PM

Do it in Chiller, mate.
That would be a sweet logo if you could do the text in something more unique than Times New Roman.
That's not times new roman, that's Palitino Unitype size 28 for the top and bottom, and then the middle is Times New Roman size 36.

also, there aren't too many logos in times, I think it works well.

Kingofdudes 02-28-2006 10:36 PM

Here is the description for the myspace:
Dragonsbane Upon The Wings Of A Winter Night (originally called Dragonslayers From The Abysmal Reaches Of The Frostbitten Icewind Tundras Upon The Northernmost Ridges Of The World) formed in 1999. Hailing from Finland, they are known for epic narrarations, lightning fast guitars, lightning fast keyboards that go along with the guitars, and shrill feminine male vocals reciting Terry Brooks novels.

Kingofdudes 02-28-2006 10:59 PM

I've decided. My order is
Slumber - Fallout
The Vanity Project - The Vanity Project
Plus, I pre-ordered David Gilmour - On an Island

I love the movie though.

Steerpike 02-28-2006 11:20 PM

I just helped one of my housemates get a bat out of his room. Little devil must have gotten in through the attic. We caught it in a box of some appliance that he never got around to throwing out and released it outside. Man, that little thing was pissed when I caught him. You could hear him squeeking and scrambling around in the box the whole way out.

Bat's are cool....

On a semi-related note...

NP: Vampira, Devin Townsend Band

Steerpike 02-28-2006 11:31 PM

I don't care what anyone says, I think bats are cute.

Of course, that should hardly come as a surprise.

Riva 02-28-2006 11:35 PM

Fruit bats (properly they are flying foxes, not a breed of bat) are the cutest little fellows. They look like little Fox Terriers.

Alex, you and I almost posted our reviews simultaneously. Heh.

Also, I just had a joke with DFelon, but I don't think he'll take it that way.

Leper 02-28-2006 11:36 PM

One time we were knocking down a couple of my Grandpa's old sheds (he lives on a farm) and suddenly a bat flew out, and actually perched on my aunty's finger. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen! It was so cute though, and surprisingly tame.

Jev 03-01-2006 01:42 AM

You know, I've never seen a bat in my life.

Leper 03-01-2006 01:51 AM

You're missing out.

But not really.

Jev 03-01-2006 01:55 AM

I'd like a pet bat.

But I'd prefer a pet Ferret.
