No. Welcome to the forums... I'd reccoemend not arguing a point that most will find un true without giving some reasons. |
haha. Quoted for idiocy.
My rankings of the albums, 1. Show No Mercy 2. Reign In Blood 3. South Of Heaven 4. Seasons In The Abyss 5. Hell Awaits 6. Haunting The Chapel 7. God Hates Us All The rest not worth ranking Don't bash me for ranking Hell Awaits 5th... I love the album, just not to the degree I love the others.
quoted for idiocy. |

Quoted for faggotry. My rankings. 1. Hell Awaits 2. Haunting The Chapel 3. Reign In Blood 4. South Of Heaven 5. Seasons In The Abyss 6. Divine Intervention I would rate Haunting The Chapel and Hell Awaits equal, but since HTC only has 3 tracks... |
No.
Welcome to the forums... I'd reccoemend not arguing a point that most will find un true without giving some reasons.
thank you. reasons? the vocals are finally bearable and silent scream, behind the crooked cross, mandatory suicide, and spill the blood are my favorite slayer songs. seriously, the vocals on the earlier albums are beyond terrible. |
South Of Heaven is where Tom's vocals started going downhill.
South Of Heaven is where Tom's vocals started going downhill.
opinions are like assholes, everyone has them. i think they were terrible, especially on show no mercy. |

Raining Blood (such a fun song to play) 2. Silent Scream 3. Angel Of Death/ War Esemble (really a ton could be this) |
opinions are like spatulas, everyone has them. i think they were terrible, especially on show no mercy.
Well yeah, they weren't great on SNM, but the were good on Hell Awaits, and his best vocals are on RIB. I think the main reason they don't sound to great on the first two album is the production. On Live Undead and Haunting The Chapel they sound great. |

The production on Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits is pretty bad. To the flaming n00b. Learn to beat the fucking chat filter. |

lmao......... wow just wow. Do you remember your post in the Metallica thread?????? James isn't a good singer. His rough vocals make Metallica, but are not techniqly sound. |

Just wait for Riva to see your posting. :p This debate isn't pathetic. In fact there really isn't a debate. Your expressing an opinion for which you have no base and people are setting you straight. |
so is war at the warfield a good dvd? i wasnt sure, so i got still reighning-------which i think is awsome, but i may get war at the warfield.......
WATW has a better set, but the performance on still reigning is much better. But get WATW purely for the hilarious interviews. |
Not a seriously huge slayer fan, but I do have god hates us all and reign in blood, and I think they are decent. Nowhere near as good as testament though.
|
Testament is a little more diverse though. It's kind of har dot compare the two, Testament did a lot of acoustic stuff with clean vocals, It's rare that slayer ever has a soothing vocal line in a song.

Thats why I like testament more...... they show a little more talent and emotion. |

really ? i think araya did a rather good job on god hates us all very energetic vocals. |
really ? i think araya did a rather good job on god hates us all
very energetic vocals.
Yeah they were the best they'd been since South of Heaven. He can hit some high notes. I tried singing 'New Faith' in my band and i couldn't do it well at all. |

Your post was not opinion? At least I backed mine up. How old are you, 12? |

Where have you been? I haven't seen you active very much lately. Hell Awaits > South of Heaven Haunting the Chapel is pretty great too, it's got Haunting the Chapel and Chemical Warfare, both songs I constantly have to listen to. |
They should have combined Haunting the chapel and hell awaits together to make one album. They're both short albums so that would make more sense.
|

Possibly one day they'll probably do that. I'd buy it since I don't actually own Haunting the Chapel. And I want to. |

angel of death is about as short as haunting the chapel. maybe a little bit more longer. |
angel of death is about as short as haunting the chapel. maybe a little bit more longer.
I don't know if that's just exaggeration. NP: Chemical Warfare |
I don't know if that's just exaggeration.
NP: Chemical Warfare
The song Chemical warfare is longer than AOD i thouhgt? |
The song Chemical warfare is longer than AOD i thouhgt?
It is. I made a mistake for some reason I thought he was saying that the album Haunting the Chapel was just a little bit longer than Angel of Death. I'm really out of today. |
^Yeah so did i. So how does his comment have any relevance to the discussion? We're not talking about RIB album, and the length of angel of death compared to HTC?? Great....
|
I don't know. I try not to make a big deal about posts anymore. But yeah, I don't get where that comment came from.
|
you were talking about slayer short albums, so i said angel of death was pretty short too.
|
you were talking about slayer short albums, so i said angel of death was pretty short too.
Angel of Death is about 5 minutes long. That's not really short for a slayer song. |
Angel of Death is about 5 minutes long. That's not really short for a slayer song.
Every other song on RiB clocks in at about 3 minutes. This is from memory but isn't it actually the longest song of the cd? I can't remember if RB is longer or not. |
Every other song on RiB clocks in at about 3 minutes. This is from memory but isn't it actually the longest song of the cd? I can't remember if RB is longer or not.
Not really almost every song on RiB is about 2 minutes. The only songs over 3 mintues on the album are Postmortem, Angel of Death, and Raining Blood. But then Rainning Blood isn't even over three minutes if you get rid off all the sound effects at the end. But yeah Angel of Death is the longest song. |

Sounds like people often think that of you? I wonder why... |
