It is so, so, so good. It was my first so I've been working backwards through the discography, but it hasn't been surpassed. One of my favorites of the year.

I agree here, I have heard a couple albums previous to their latest which I havent heard. Even when I was more tolerant I thought it was average. The way they present their image and their music is highly pretentious. Plus the fact they butcherd Sol Invictus's "Kneel to the Cross" with their horrible vocals and terrible instrumentation adds to it.

By butchered you mean, they decide to give the song a different feel that you didn't like.

The production fits it perfectly. The drums are insane. The vocals are just amazing. I think of it as black metal with death influences.
