Dargon is correct by saying 'hung'.

Wotan: do you still want the Tourniquet album?

NP: Death - Baptized in Blood.
Which Tourniquet album is it? I'd take it if you wouldn't mind sharing.
Thanks mang.

Try recording an 8 song demo in a band like that. Sitting in a basement hearing the kids record essentially the same riff repeatedly for hours straight. I liked the music until we tried recording, and then we all got sick of it and called it quits (that and the one guitarists girlfriend hanged herself).

I'm not big on Spawn Of Possession, but Demilich and Quo Vadis are both awesome, I don't know Trails Of Anguish.

Hacksaw To The Throat writes some pretty interesting melodies, though they still have a lot of genericism to grow out of, but I see that coming with their progression.

Your telling me dude. I've had three projects fail on me this past year because of lack of skill/motivation in songwriting.
Yeah I never once being able to find a proper metal band to get into and also I would rather want to start cause I feel I need creative control or at least leadership haha.

Never heard Hacksaw but maybe I should later ;)

I uploaded Trails of Anguish in the Daily Upload.

Yeah I just love Spawn of Possesion. Although the whole "brutal" thing has worn off me kinda their massive classical influence and songwriting skill keeps me entertained.

Yikes about your last band haha!

Mabye I should just record by myself but thats just so difflcult!

Okay fellas, I will be off the Radar for a week because I am going down to the coast (in winter haha) with some mates to fish and drink beer etc.

bye

I'm sorry, but you have to be kidding me.

TojesDolan 07-14-2007 09:34 PM

He seems very serious about it.

Do you see his black avatar?

That is sometimes related to seriousness.

RetiredAt21 07-14-2007 10:09 PM

You aren't funny.

UpperDecker 07-14-2007 10:17 PM

Soooooo..... whats the best death band out right now? In your own opinion and why.

TojesDolan 07-14-2007 10:20 PM

I only listen to old school death metal and brit pop at the moment.

I kind of liked what I heard of Twilight. But then again they released an album 2 years ago.

UpperDecker 07-14-2007 10:22 PM

Twilight? never heard of them. I'll look them up. thanx for replying.

TojesDolan 07-14-2007 10:38 PM

Hacksaw To The Throat, as I keep mentioning.

Poofy 666 07-15-2007 12:30 AM

Just got back from the Vital Remains. It was pretty good. I'm going to bed now.

TojesDolan 07-15-2007 02:25 AM

August 19th: Dismember, Belphegor, Grave, Sinister, Enthroned

I'm so attending this, just for Dismember.

Invicta_Veritas 07-15-2007 02:28 AM

Ignore the people who shit on Aborted's newest. It's actually quite enjoyable, IMO anyway.

TojesDolan 07-15-2007 02:30 AM

No, it objectively sucks.

Invicta_Veritas 07-15-2007 02:35 AM

Well, I'm kinda biased because that's the first Aborted I ever heard, and I was blown away. So naturally, even if you learn later that it sucks compared to the rest of thier material, it still sticks with you. So I still really like it.

TojesDolan 07-15-2007 02:40 AM

It doesn't, you grow out of it.

Invicta_Veritas 07-15-2007 02:42 AM

I don't think I will...it's still a pretty good DM album, IMO.

Squirrel 07-15-2007 04:33 AM
Which Tourniquet album is it? I'd take it if you wouldn't mind sharing.
that was a pretty dumb thing to say

Stevie II 07-15-2007 07:06 AM

I'm attending just for Enthroned

Squirrel 07-15-2007 08:26 AM

Didnt the drummer from Psycroptic play on the latest Aborted album?
Hacksaw to the Throat discussion
I heard one song, i wouldnt call it DM by a long shot ..

Dargon II 07-15-2007 10:16 AM

when even Squirrel tells you to GTFO, you know you're an incurable malldweller.

Squirrel 07-15-2007 10:22 AM
