Rad, I don't like'em much though.
The only bands within that style of music that I can say I really dig are Haste The Day, The Chariot, and I know theres another, it just doesn't come to mind right now.
hows As I Lay Dying with you? also, what was the pit raid? |
181, punks!
1427 ;)
We talking about rep? 1622 + ;) And As i Lay dying suck donkey balls. Punk, it's a weird forumale of your rep count, how long you've been a member, your post count, and your awesomeness. |
Tons of dickheads from the pit came and started tons of dumbass threads and negged everyone.
|
hows As I Lay Dying with you?
also, what was the pit raid?
I find them kinda bleh. |
Im catching up maniac ;)
|
You must spread some reputation around before giving it to pure again...
... was gonna set you back a bit. |
I wont neg you because i'm not a nasty person!
|
so based on modest mouse's 'fire it up' and the arcade fire's 'intervention', i can, with no hesitation, officially state that 2007 is the year of the glockenspiel.
my prediction for fashion trends: rattan handles are NOT going to be in style. brass is definitely the 'in' sound. throw away your acetyl and aluminum mallets. |
i could use rep!

I gotta spread some befo giving it to you, foo!
|
ska is amazing!
|
brass is for ***
normally, i'd agree. for anything more than quarter notes, brass is way too heavy for me. aluminum works incredibly for quick runs and such, but if you listen to the aforementioned songs, you'll hear the heavy half/quarter notes that wouldn't be as bold if you used titanium. |
Hey white, hows it going?
My drum shop keeps getting loads of Gretsch kits in, and i dunno which ones are the good one, and which ones are the beginner ones. Guide to gretsch lines please? |
ska is amazing!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatcha into? |
ska is overrated and a little bit goes a long way.
truth |
the supertones!
and the suicide machines! |
Nighthawk- lowest (?)
Blackhawk- low end, with mahogony (i have one) Catalina- mostly jazz sizes, but now there is rock sizes. different woods i think Renown- maple, great kits. (considering for my next set) im sure there are more, im just too lazy to look. |
I want a premier series but £1700 for a 5 piece is absurd for something that'll probably break.

You gotta check out some of the good stuff. Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, BOTAR, Operation Ivy, Johnny Okay, FIF, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones. And then theres two-tone and first-wave ska. Old, but awesome. Prince Buster, The Skatalites, Desmond Dekker, Toots And The Maytals. Also, TJ, Suicide Machines rock. Supertones, I'm not too big on. |
'night...it's like 6:30 here, though.
|
blackhawk = small cock.
he is correct, but i think they are the best begginer kits out there, and i have mine sounding ok now with the tuning. |

HORRIBLE lyrics. if i want trumpets, i'll listen to miles davis. |
