haha working bro, or hardly working for that matter.

My girl called me about Animal Crossing DS. Apparently she couldnt sell all our fish cause the shop was under construction. I had her cheat and set the date to tomorrow so it would be done already

Jev 12-07-2005 12:09 PM
That's awesome. Who got it for you?

Not someone you live with, I'd imagine.
My dad. Boy he's gonna regret it.

its this open ended type game where theres no real GOALS besides what you want to do with your town....

The way I play it, you move to a town, and have an 18000 debt. I fish until the debt is gone, which nets you a bigger house.

I then shake trees containing fruit, to plant more trees. My particular town has cherry trees. What you do is dig holes, and bury the cherries in them. Tons of trees = good town = more people move in.

You decorate your house with 1000 some objects, ranging from creme couches, to guitars, to fish in tanks.

You have to write real letters to people in the game as well. They can tell if its jibberish.

Wicked fun actually

That sounds awesome, kinda like Harvest Moon but better.
What's a Kazoo?
It's like a small metal (sometimes plastic) object you put in your mouth. You make "doo" noises through it and it sounds like a duck (well kinda)

kurrpt 12-07-2005 12:20 PM

yea, its MUCH better then harvest moon.

This one is especially cool because its online. Essentially, I could go to your town, fraternize with the people in your town, and they in turn could move to my better equipped town.

My friend did that to my brothers game for the game cube  My brother got SOOOoooo pissed, that he went to that kids town and proceeded to chop down all his fukking trees

the kid never played the game again

its actually that kewl...

i hear that online, you need something called a friend code so random jerks dont trash ur town. I think it would be kind of funny to see how much havoc i could wreak with-in a 20 minute period

the game is ALL real time, so 20 minutes in real-life, is 20 minutes in the game

Cool. I hated the fact in HM time went by 10 minutes for every 10 seconds.

Cain 12-07-2005 12:29 PM

Everybody who plans on seeing the new King Kong must see the original King Kong to get psyched. :)

For bonus points you can watch King Kong vs. Godzilla.

you get to design your own shirts and flags in this one (like the last)

i actually spent 30 minutes tabbing the nintendo METROID theme as my towns song

it was hard because they dont have flats or sharps, so i changed the key and got it to sound good

Six Foot Revolver 12-07-2005 12:30 PM

King Kong verses Godzilla, I think I've seen that. I laughed my ass off at the models.

Josh 12-07-2005 12:33 PM

i'm going to see a play of The Lion, the witch... tomorrow night, and then sometime soon i'm going to see the film :) i read that series of books when i was about 8 i think. king kong would probably be good as well.

yea, you should hear how the animals talk. Its like some rudimentary system that sounds out the sounds of english, but obviously its messed up, and sped up at the same time. Its like you hear them talk, and you can make out certain words and things

ill probably fool with that town song again tonight

Same here, I am very picky when it comes to books which I can give attention to all the way through to the end.
