I used to listen to The Downward Spiral a lot, but now I'm digging WITH_TEATH. Good album.
I wasn't aware of a new album. I hope he pulls off something as good as their latest release, it was decent. |
I think it will be better than With Teeth. Trent descriped it as "conceptual, noisy, and fucking cool."
I'm excited.
Noisy aye, I always liked Noise-Metal so if he can make some Industrial Noise-esh inspired stuff I'd be happy as hell :) I just hope he doesn't loose his flair and kinnda flop...
I doubt it.
Has he grown his hair back and gone off the Androlone yet?
lol hopefully he'll stop getting haircuts, and replace androlone with heroine and cocaine and whatever the hell else he needs to use to **** himself up.

Well at least I can wish  |

I meant I doubt it to this. |

Depressing music is inherently better than everything else. Ergo, I'm all for this. |

now i expect something good.... i hope i won't be dissapointed this time. WT was fine after the release, but afterwards i just didn't listen to it anymore... i like TF much more |
The Downward Spiral still stands as my personal favorite. I find myself listening to With Teeth more often though.
The Fragile, Broken and Pretty hate machine are my favourites...
Just saw a setlist of tonight's show and I'm very surprised yet very very pleased to see that they performed 'We're In This Together Now'! ..and 'Ruiner'. That must have been one hell of an awesome show...I'd kill to experience We're In this Together live. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the first time it's ever been played, no? I thought they'd never play this song seeing as how Trent did mention that the vocals were too high for him...maybe we'll also finally get to hear 'And All That Could Have Been'. For anyone interested, here's the actual setlist: Somewhat Damaged You Know What You Are We're In This Together (!!) March Of The Pigs Closer Burn Reptile Ruiner (!!) Wish Gave Up With Teeth Dead Souls TDTWWA Help Me I'm In Hell Eraser Only Hurt The Hand That Feeds Head Like A Hole |
RUINER
Ruiner is such an amazing song. So does this mean they're touring?
EDIT: Europe, bummer. |
Wow, that's absolutely immense that they played We're In this Together Now. You are correct, it's the first time it'd been played.
Mmm I always loved the video for that song too!
Why hadn't they played it before that?
^Well, during one of the meets we had at a concert, someone asked him if he'd ever consider playing that song live and his response was something along the lines of .."I dont think so. That song is to high for my voice. I don't know what i was thinking when I recorded it".
So maybe he's gotten some vocal training now? I don't know. |
****... and i haven't bought the tickets... and NIN is playing two days in vienna!!!!
Wow, that looks like a good show. I wish I lived in Europe.
^Yeah, no kiding. Wish I could afford traveling to Europe for these things..:p
****... and i haven't bought the tickets... and NIN is playing two days in vienna!!!!
 ....Better hurry to get those tickets, I think I saw that one of the shows was already sold out. Actually, alot of the damn shows are sold out. By the way, the full tracklisting for the new album is up. I know there's another thread going on solely about the new album but just figured I put here instead. Looks like this time we'll get 16 tracks! Hyperpower! The Beginning Of The Dead Survivalism The Good Soldier Vessel Me, I'm Not Capital G My Violent Heart The Warning God Given Your Master The Greater Good The Great Destroyer Another Version of The Truth In This Twilight Zero-Sum 'Hyperpower!"? I don't know. Titles seem a little...fake? Maybe Trent is messing with everyone? Ah, who knows..it's the same thing I thought when Tool released their tracklisting and look how that turned out..it was all real. |
I'm sure it's just for fun.
I find it odd that "Hyperpower!" is the only one that's italicized.
i'm sure they are sold out for weeks...
holy ****..... they are playing 4times in London  edit: misunderstood...you're right. i still can get those fukking tickets... ****... |

All the songs you bolded (aside from We're in This Together Now) are my least favorite NIN songs. :p
you know that i appreciate the "harder" site of Trent Reznor more :D a 2nd Broken would be great - and "burn" is just one of his best releases!!!
40Euros for one ticket... :upset: too much for me :( |
Anyone seen the track titles yet?
They seem as mediocre/crappy as the album title. 'Hyperpower!' ... :/ *fingers crossed* |
