okay so the whole ip thing would be even better. Can you give me a link to a site that has the polls that I want so I can bookmark it. That way I won't have any last minute confusion.

One of us can probably put one together instead (well, I don't know any site which would do the kind of poll you want... maybe someone else does tho)

What's the S&L challenge style? I've never participated.

start a thread called "Challenge #?? - "(theme goes here)"
The challange numer is determined obviously by which challenge it is(dur dur durr) and the theme is determined by the winner of the last challenge.

Everyone enters that is going to enter, until the deadline(S&Ls is one week)
Then a voting thread is opened and you have the same amount of time to vote. Everyone who enters is required to vote or the are dq, but anyone on the forums can vote even if you've never entered.

The way you vote is as follows:

List all entries in chronological order, then next to their name you put the place they are to recieve.

ex:

say in the challenge thread the posts were as follows:
Kevbud(threadstarter)
Trigger
Diatonic
Fuzzyhair
Moaner
Kevbud(yes you can eneter in your own challenge)
Camel
Aes
ADU
gaslight

SO they enter their songs in their post via mp3. this is an exsample voting post:

Trigger -- 9th
Diatonic -- 8th
Fuzzyhair -- 1st
Moaner -- 10th
Kevbud -- 6th
Camel -- 5th
Aes -- 2nd
ADU --7th
gaslight -- 3rd

Everybody votes like that not like this:

1st: blah blah blah
2nd blah balh balh
...................

That way all the scores are combined for each person, the lowest score is omited then they are averaged and the winner is announced. The winner has one week to make the next thread or the 2nd place takes over their responsibilities, the are penalized by not being able to enter in the next challenge but still get credit for winning the last challenge.

Also you open a discussion thread for every challenge.

Dunno. You'd have to consult the others - I'm just offerring to put together pages if people need them. I'm thinking it would be easier through an external system but that's just me.
