Saw the Quantice Never Crashed reunion show last night.
They played with The Cable Car Theory and The Scarlett Letter.
Amazing show.
Amazing.
Crowd was singing along to everything.
Everyone was dripping with sweat.
We all put it in each other's butts.
Amazing

iamrockzorz 08-19-2007 04:20 PM

can i post the link right here-o for btbam?

in r&m, they were doing e-mails of it.

IF you'd rather do that post your emails.

the new shits good. but every song that isn't an intro/interlude is like more than 10 minutes long and has like 10 breakdowns in each.

i love the mike patton influence though lol. Like in sun of nothing and the polka at the end of prequel to the sequel.

santi3hg 08-19-2007 04:21 PM

what the hell is R&m. And yeah just post the link here or goatvomit thread.

Luxor 08-19-2007 04:52 PM
Gice, I just realized that I don't like too much emo.

you're not cr00sh.

cobert 08-23-2007 12:14 AM

I'm seriously not, I came to the conclusion that most screamo and new stuff is super pretentious and that most early 90's stuff is super pretentious, but in a way more obscure and cr00sh type of way.

Not saying it sucks or anything, like any genre you have hits and misses, but sometimes bands on here that are just okay get waaaaay sucked off.

cbmartinez 08-23-2007 12:27 AM

yeah like portrait actually and portraits of past

cobert 08-23-2007 09:57 AM

Nobody here rides the nuts of Portraits of Past except for me.

Matt? 08-23-2007 10:49 AM

cobert 08-23-2007 11:52 AM

A is for ANARCHY!

SGlove 08-23-2007 12:19 PM

So what you into then?

cobert 08-23-2007 12:32 PM

Emo-wise?

Ill go with:

Cap'n Jazz (if youre counting mid-west stuff whish I still think is iffy, then I also include the Promise Ring, sdre, texas is the reason, and American Football)
CTTS
City of Caterpillar
Moss Icon
Neil Perry
Orchid
Pg99
Potraits of Past
Yaphet Kotto

Thats pretty much it, even though im sure Im forgetting a lot of cr00sh bands I enjoy. Im not saying all other emo sucks, thats just the stuff I really dig on and listen to regularly. Basically, a lot of mid-west stuff and then the more epic stuff.

iamrockzorz 08-23-2007 02:59 PM

What else are you into?

cbmartinez 08-23-2007 03:28 PM

Emo is one of those genres where I can just listen to a couple artists, my faves of the genre. I don't need to constantly be looking for new bands. Lately, it's been a diet of Ampere, Sed Non Sataita, Raein, and Mihai Edrisch though, most emo I've listened to in a while though. Ampere will always be one of my fave bands though.

This. Most emo I just throw on every once in a while but theres only a few bands that I listen to pretty regularly.

I could never get into Euro shit though, for some reason.

Yeah, Envy's album and Gospel's album I could listen to forever. Cryonics too. Frodus is emo?

lunchforthesky 08-23-2007 03:42 PM
Yeah, Envy's album and Gospel's album I could listen to forever. Cryonics too. Frodus is emo?
Maybe not, but I always lump them together with the other bands I said.

cobert 08-23-2007 03:44 PM

Frodus is neat.

santi3hg 08-23-2007 03:44 PM

I only really listen to a few emo bands. The only american ones I enjoy aer like Gospel, Funeral Diner, Ampere, and Hot Cross really. All the others one I can't stand.

santi3hg 08-23-2007 03:46 PM

Frodus reminds me of Refused really.

cobert 08-23-2007 03:57 PM

santi3hg 08-23-2007 04:04 PM

I haven't really checked em out thats why.

cobert 08-23-2007 04:11 PM

Dayum son.

Seriously one of my favorite bands, of any genre. They sound so goofy and fun. I actually might compare them a bit to Acrobatic Tenement by ATDI, just more emo sounding.

cbmartinez 08-23-2007 04:13 PM

Capn Jazz is pretty weak.

cobert 08-23-2007 04:18 PM

Too many people on this forum sip da haterade for that band.

RetiredAt21 08-23-2007 04:56 PM

Because they suck.

iamrockzorz 08-23-2007 05:02 PM

Goatvomit 666.

Cap'n Jazz ain't bad. But only half of their discography is worth indulging in.

RetiredAt21 08-23-2007 05:21 PM

lol

Matt? 08-24-2007 10:36 AM
