Where abouts in Melbourne do you live?
Lilydale. Last stop on the lily line into the city. Takes 56 mins by train to get in there. and about 15-20 mins by tram to get to the bass centre.

Hello All. Whats the topic

Wintermute 10-31-2004 08:04 AM

Some basses acquire class with ageing. That one just looks knackered.

Dieforitall89 10-31-2004 08:37 AM

Good morning mx.

Jamie 10-31-2004 08:42 AM

And im back already. Its too boring IMO over there.

Rollo47 10-31-2004 09:20 AM

I know - I used to hang out there sometimes, too, but it gets incredibly tedious. Only reason I would bother now is to have a look at their ridiculously expensive basses.

bottlerocket 10-31-2004 09:43 AM

Comfortably Numb-Pink Floyd

janyeno 10-31-2004 10:12 AM

I'm listening to random stuff... right now its one of my songs...

Wintermute 10-31-2004 10:13 AM

I was listening to a bit of Floyd earlier - I've got entire cd collection on shuffle, so some random stuff comes up!

bottlerocket 10-31-2004 10:13 AM

^ I just had Floyd on..I was listening to my "The Wall" CD, actually.

Long live Floyd.

Wintermute 10-31-2004 10:14 AM

I watched The Wall just the other day.

Freaky freaky film. Love it :thumb:

Tryxx 10-31-2004 10:16 AM

...after comfortably numb...winamp switched to Cowbell... :amaze:

You have no idea how much I'm laughing...

bottlerocket 10-31-2004 10:16 AM

^ I have yet to see that.

Clockwork Orange goes down as one of the weirdest films I've ever seen. If you want messed up films, see "Audition" (if you want to know, ask me, I think if I explain it on here I'll get banned, so IM me on AIM: GavsTemporarySN), "Monster," and "Rollercoaster."

All great but messed up movies.

I still feel so weird watching the part in Clockwork Orange where the cops drag the guy to the water bowl thing in the woods and drown him and beat him.

I've seen so many shirts that say "NEEDS MORE COWBELL!" lately. It's really funny. They sell them at Hot Topic now.

Remember when that was Quatre's icon?

Tryxx 10-31-2004 10:17 AM

Omega Red 10-31-2004 10:17 AM
^^ Awesome!

What's it take?
well, because im a transfer student, I got some leeway. first off I dont have to take the satII. secondly i can get my general education and get a degree in less time than normal because i went to a community college. thirdly i have 2 letters of recomendation from 2 berklee graduates. finaly admission is not based on skill level, because if you have a pianist who is going to be a music bussiness major he doesnt need to be able to play well. they require 2 years of playing with fomal instruction. there are millions of Scholarships, but you do have to perfomr to get you scholarships. But the coolest thing i got from it, is berklee isnt this elitest school that everyone thinks it is, they basicaly want to get as many students as possible. Your progress is depended on your grades. Once you get to the school you have to take core classes, ear training, theory, reading, ect. but once you get done with those, then you have to apply to you major. it was really awsome. :thumb:

Tryxx 10-31-2004 10:19 AM

That's awesome, really, really, really awesome.
*Is proud of you*

bottlerocket 10-31-2004 10:20 AM

^ That sounds so cool. Where exactly in Boston is Berklee, anyone know?
