I've met last.fm people. Generally, they're cool.
|
It's not that I wouldn't meet someone from the interwebs...it's just that I could really give a **** about anyone tbh.
|
I have met Riva, which is a bit weird since he lives in Australia, but he came through here on a Eurotrip.
|
I went to college with like 3 other regular MXers. clearvision, Distorted_Vision, and someone else whose s/n I forget. Knew them all on here before meeting them IRL.
|
I met Evan (big80smullet / free the paedos) at a minus the bear show in February. Good times.
|
Meeting mxers/sputnikers IRL is cool. Only met one so far but he was sound.

MTB ftw...I went to one of their shows like last summer or I don't remember when....it was cool, we saw jake snider outside of the club like 45 minutes before the show...we were hammered off whiskey and he seemed like kind of an asshole, so we didn't bother him, just head nods and quick talk as we passed by. |
I didn't think the Minus the Bear show I went to was worth the money I paid for it.
|
Hm..I liked it...played a bunch of new and old songs...was only like 90 people there...loud...etc...they played a few songs that people were yelling out too...so that was cool.
I also tried to get drinks at the bar...but before I got to the bartender I panicked and dodged out. (i'm 20) |
i'm sure i've been somewhere that montana has.
|
The show here cost about $50 (way expensive even by Australian standards). I really only went because a friend wanted to go and he had never been to any shows before. They sounded pretty much exactly the same as on cd. I don't love them or anything to begin with so it was just...not that great.

Heres a video from the show I was at:http://youtube.com/watch?v=jmq2labjAwc You suck. |
I have been unemployed for ages, living off of money from my college bursary fund. It is good being a slacker, but the time has come where I need a job badly. It's just there are few places I'm willing to work at. I worked at a call centre for 5 months before college and it was the worst thing I've ever done, but i did have money. Neva again though.
but i do wanna have money for starting uni so... neoteric, i think we've been to 2 of the same shows....Melvins/Flipper/BB and Sonic Youth. If it weren't for you being so young it'd have been more though :p |

You gotta just buckle down and get a well-paying job. Work construction or at a used bookstore. But don't be a fucking chump about it and whine if you don't like it. |

You suck.
That looks really cool. I do suck, but I'm broke. On the bright side, my friend said his uncle can do my car's "inspection" for 20 bucks. I don't even have to bring it to him, he'll just give me the stickers. |

overreact much Kage?
You're reading too much into this. I am not whining, I am merely stating that I hated my previous job and won't do anything like it again. It is an observation. |
