His little ass-shakin' moon walk impresses me.
Really? It scares me.

Bartender 02-28-2006 04:16 PM
Still not all of them though man... look at Sikth, and Cradle of Filth (their old stuff minus Dani's vocals), and what about Blind Gaurdian? or Porcupine Tree for that matter?
Blind Guardian aren't British.

I could've sworn they were :upset:.

I mixed them up with some other band then, never mind.
Eleventeen, can you hook me up with that album you reviewed. I am intrigued...
I would if I could, but I have 1-way cable.

Try on Soulseek, I found all of their stuff on there, now I gotta find real copies, they're so good.

Deconstruction 02-28-2006 04:20 PM

Just got back from the local cd/record store, purchased Satch's Engines of Creation, Beavis and Butthead experience (is a very decent mix), and Megadeth's Risk, none of these were outstanding.....no Bob Schneider etc, nothing I got really excited.

I posted that like 2 weeks ago

Turns out it was +4, not -4, which changes everything.

Awesome. Suncoast is going out of business, so I just bought like 6 dvd's for 40 USD. I got Caddyshack, Boondock Saints, and a few other good ones.

GI Joe!

I just bought me some music from amazon:
Franz Liszt - Transcendental Etudes
Prokofiev - Complete Piano Sonatas
Chopin - Etudes Op.10 and Op.25

Looking forward to this lot arriving.

Oh sorry, I guess it went to the first unread post and I haven't been on here for about that long.

Jev 02-28-2006 04:32 PM

I just got 2 30ft cables for my guitar. That makes for some good wandering.

TojesDolan 02-28-2006 04:35 PM

I found a load of classical music CD's among my father's collection. I didn't rip it all to my computer, but I have some Chopin going on.

I had a 25 footer once. That thing was awesome. I could take my guitar from my bedroom and literally rock out in the kitchen while my amp was still in the room. I felt like Angus Young or something.

GenuineImitation 02-28-2006 04:36 PM

I only have a 12 foot cable. I really should get a longer one.

lightningmetal666 02-28-2006 04:39 PM

I want to get a monster rock cable. I hear that they have the best warranty on their cables. You could purposely cut your cable up and they will replace it for free.

i am the robots 02-28-2006 04:39 PM

I have a 12 foot cable too, well had... I lost it in my basement when I got my acoustic (I didn't play electric for a few weeks and things get lost easy in my house).

I need a new cable badly, but for now I play my electric at friends' houses and my acoustic at home.

I tell you, get one. I can walk to the end of my garden with my guitar still plugged in.

Good man. It's funny, in my household I'm playing out classical music while my dad doesn't really like it (with a few exceptions).

Just listening also to the Canvas Solaris album Sublimination that came with the daily upload. I'm finding it a little difficult somehow...

I second that motion. I can't tell you the number of times I've scared the crap out of my dad from sneaking up behind him and then playing some crazy Van Halen stuff.

That must have been funny as hell.

According to your user title, your a new dad. Is this true, or are you just screwing with us?

lightningmetal666 02-28-2006 04:46 PM

Hey just noticed something cool. I've been registered here for a Year now. Happy anniversary to me.

TojesDolan 02-28-2006 04:47 PM

My guitar cable is like 7 foot long.

I have such small cable weiner. :upset:

The Sam Goody right across the street from me is closing too. But it still sucks. They had godawful selection when they were open, so now that they're closing the selection is even worse, and the prices still just aren't that good. It's like 10 bucks for a cd. Which is great compared to before, but compared to reasonably priced stores it's not a good deal. What a crap store.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I'd rather have a 7 ft. monster rock cable than a 30 ft. crappy brand.

No joke man, I am literally a new daddy. I'm so stoked by it you don't even know. At first we thought she had miscarried the baby, but as it turns out the baby is still alive and kicking (literally) still don't know the sex yet but she is about 2 1/2 months pregnant.

Jev 02-28-2006 04:53 PM

Since when have Tool been confirmed for Download?

I'd rather have DT though.
